Just got back from seeing "Fantastic Beasts"
Still have to wait over 3 weeks to go see it as us the siblings promised to go see it together and it seems around December 17th is the date when all of us are here...

Good to know! This may be the first year I go and see every comic book movie in the theaters instead of waiting for home release. So far this year I've gone out and watched Logan, GotG 2, and Wonder Woman. I had planned on skipping WW until I heard all the glowing reviews. I'm glad I didn't miss it because I found it thoroughly enjoyable. Really made up for the hot mess that was Suicide Squad. After Spider-Man, I think Thor and Justice League finish out 2017, and I don't see myself skipping either of those either. Thank goodness a movie ticket is only $5 at my local theater!

You know, sometimes patience doesn't pay off.  You wait and wait, and nothing really happens.  Glad that didn't happen this time.

And as a life long Spider-Man fan (the comics), we FINALLY got Spider-Man on the big screen.  I loved it.
No Mopey Maguire who forgot Spider-Man is supposed to tell jokes, no Mr. Cool Garfield who forgot to be socially awkward.
Just a solid Spider-Man experience.

I'm going to have to go see this soon. I keep hearing great things about it! I just went to see Bumblebee, and I've got to say, it's an amazing movie! You can really tell that they had some love for the original Transformers with all the little references and the character designs. SOOOOO glad that they ditched the Bay-formers designs. I was sick of seeing random scrap heaps with Transformers names slapped on them.
To be this good it takes AGES!

Can't afford movie theaters rght now (no job), so probably Captain Marvel will be my next theatrical movie. Finally saw Venom from Redbox, and I thought it was great! No idea why it gets all the hate. And I just contributed to this topic being at least 80% Spiderman.
