PC game covers thread (was: Official PC game template)

PC doesn't stay up to date? Linux/Mac user? Don't like fuxing around with PC requirements? (I was really pissed when I found out Portal didn't run on my minimum requirements-meeting PC)

Nah..i have'nt been 'machine biased' since the eighties when i fought for the Speccy army against the C64'ers.Then i defected cos' of three things. Way of the Exploding Fist, Yie Ar Kung Fu (J.M.Jarre loading music!!!) and Zoids( the music was the greatest thing i ever heard and a damn fine game to boot).

haha - i was on the speccy side too - didn't defect until the arrival of the amiga though.  i gotta say i did secretly love mates c64's though - impossible mission, yie ar kung fu, kung fu master, last ninja..........didn't realise the yie ar music was jarre though - and me being a fan back then too!!!

Ha..Impossible Mission!! The speech was amazing! Got the Master System version now.Yes i was staunch speccy till my mates one bit the dust and he went Commodore. Then when i played on it,i had one of those 'have to have it' moments. I picked up a Speccy 128 at a carboot about 6 months back but have not messed about with it much since. Loaded up 'Everyone's a Wally' just to check it all still worked though. Alas my old C64 has ROM probs and wont start anymore. I have an eeprom burner so one day, i will find some time to have a crack at it.

hmm, I've always enjoyed pc gaming more than console gaming, but I always make sure that my system is up to date so I can run newer games.

been awhile last I posted anything. I am taking my last semester of school and am finding no time for anything but my job and homework. I am just writing here to put out a request for anyone with any old PC games... please contribute these to the site in anyway possible. I am hoping when I have time I can come on here and work with some great new material.

I would like to work on making a match set of DVD size covers for The Circle of Blood Broken Sword games 1-4 any interest? i just acquired the 4th one in the series.

I'll have a go at this - couple of questions:

Do you want PAL or NTSC?
Do you have raws you can upload? (
Did you want the original logo from each game on the spine - or a more generic one for uniformity (more like the sleeping dragon/angel of death one)?

I would be interested in PAL versions - and woiuld also like the inclusion of Broken Sword 2.5 (available free here: http://www.brokensword25.com/)

Wow those are good mockups already! The spines look good, but I don't like the PC template, is that fuzzy pc logo a standard? Most of my other games use the Games for windowstemplate I think that should probably be the standard for pc titles in america at least. The other games i have in DVD cases use the PC DVD template but none of these games are on DVD.
I do have all the original material, unfortunately no scanner 
But that's not really a big deal since i don't like the american artwork on all four games 
Yeah I was going to download Brokensword 2.5 so that's good idea!
All of mine are the american NTSC versions so the first one is just titled circle of blood and the spine is sort in an intricate gold
broken sword 2 is titled the smoking mirror they both haved virgin on the spine but neither match.
the third one has broken sword also in gold with adventure company website and adventure compnay logo
the fourth one has only a paper box and is titled secrets of the ark in america, the 3 discs are in paper sleeves and has only secrets of the ark and adventure company on the spine.
I have limited photoshop abilities so i'll do what I can.

I'll finish working on the PAL versions and then make the changes you need for US versions.
