Yeah actually it does, I wasn't sure if that is the cover art or not. I do not know the source of his covers, they might have been lower resolution that he upscaled, so if it doesn't pass muster lets not use it.

DW2 looks good.

I cleaned up Swede's Ninja Gaiden cover some.

It still seems a little pixelated, but that might be just me.

Hmmm.... You're right lumber.... Especially the front looks not too good.... Don't know if that's fixable... You can sharp it a little for the blurred spots on the back but the front.... I dunno but when I scan stuff it never looks like that....

I'll prob end up re-buying this game and will upload fresh high res raws at that time. I am waiting to finish my list before I start double dipping on games though.

We won't be using that cover. It appears the source material came from MobyGames as it had identical tears on it. Moby Games uses sub-300 DPI scans which is why it looks pixelated.

I think I will stick to working with verified raws from now on rather than try and clean up submitted covers.

You know, oddly enough, I haven't played one game I've bought in the last 6 months since I started making covers for them.

In fact, the only games I don't have boxes for are SMB/Duck Hunt, Dragon Warrior and Tiny Toons Adventures and I don't have any raws to make a cover for Tiny Toons.

I finished Basewars, but I think John Elway may be beyond even my Photoshop skills. There's ink on the cover as well as bits of the front missing from what I'm guessing is an attempt to remove a sticker.

Here's BaseWars

Good Deal LJ. I think you did 95% of the NES covers on the site at this point.

Here is a new one, but might be too much work as appears it was Jack the Ripper's game as a kid, at least someone sliced the center of the front with a razor.

edit I rescanned the cover without some transparent tape I found on it causing some blur on the front. I also cleaned up the scratch myself.

Hey antony30bc, where do you keep getting NES boxes from? If you can, can you get the Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! scan? Thats a game I really want a cover for.

I buy the complete games on ebay. Don't tell my wife, she always wonders why I am broke. Mike Tyson flavor of Punch out is on the list to buy.
