Lookin good 1980Coelho, you forgot the shadow though.

Duck Hunt has a remade cover somewhere, I got it on my PC. I got Pro Wrestling CIB, if you want scans I can provide them.

Nice work coelho and thanks for your contributions!

I have to admit though that I have a hard time trying to understand what you're saying. ;D

For me personally vectorizing is nice especially for template stuff like logos and seals of quality (we need perfectionized templates!!!)
BUT I do not really like it for artwork too much as it makes everything too "perfect". ;)

Shenske and kaiserwave are the template forum men. ;D

@Arseen: Perfection is when it looks exactly like the original cover did not "better".

HMMM OK, maytbe I understood wrong?

Anyway which ever way makes the cover look perfect replica of the front is the way I prefer.
Altough adding to that, I always prefer the PAL/JAP art over the pixeltype US art.

like a lot of pixels .. everything is pixel depends on your point of view  :P.. so like the japanese versions of classical designs with this style:

Yep that style is the one I prefer.

Here's Parodius (Japan) for Famicom:

My box is a little old, cleaned it up a bit in Photoshop, but it's a little worse for wear. Hey it's better than no cover. If you don't have one for this game, now you do.  Looks fine in a UGC on my shelf!

Hey guys.  I am new to this site and recently started making some covers.  Here is my first one.  Feedback appreciated!  (Whether it's good or bad).  Thanks!

The contrast and color saturation are pretty low. It makes the cover blurry and appear faded, I imagine in large part to the quality of your raw scans.

But great first post! Your cover is still infinitely better then any I've made. Welcome to the site, and I hope to see more covers frm you.

Thanks for the feedback.  I tweaked a few settings on my scanner and tried to clean up the front part as much as I could.  This is the best I could do.

nes_dragonwarrior3 (version 2).
