Stunning work. Please add them to the site as soon as you can, I want to start printing these!

I have to admit that they really look very good.... :)

I hope that you'll also make a horizontal style cover if you come across a game which has no artwork on our site at the moment.... :'(

i'm still doing both horizantal and vertical.

Almost all the SNES covers i make are conversions of current covers on the site.
The ones that are not conversions are completely custom (like the japanese covers) and they would look kind of goofy if i tried to recreate them in their original format.

when i come across new SNES raws i'll make both horizantal and vertical versions.

Not to be pushy or anything but we have quite some SNES raws you could tackle if you feel like it ;)

yeah i know, i have looked into the raws quite a few time but roughly half of the raws have the "moire effect"

i'm downloading the whole SNES RAW section right now and i'll see what i can do  :)

Your efforts are much appreciated. I'm looking forward to some new covers when you used your magic on them :) I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great.

Hey shenske, I really love your work. I was wondering something. Would you maybe consider making an NES/Famicom/Famicom Disk System template as well? The reason I ask is because I'd like to make all my games more uniform than they are now. Almost all of my Famicom games I've either made spines only for or made custom covers from bits and peices I found around the net. The problem is for many obscure Famicom games, there really is next to no artwork avalible at all, let alone high-res. With a template ala your wonderful Super Famicom template, it would make things look uniform and plus I would work with images that don't need to be the same size as the entire front cover. In fact, the template I'd like to use is almost identical to the Super Famicom one you already made - All you'd really have to do is remove "Super" from the front, respace the remaining "Famicom", and change the Super Famicom logo on the cover, spine and back to the Famicom's FF logo. Finding high res art of that is kinda difficult, but I know that lumberjack's FDS covers has them already.

Anyway, fantastic work. I just throught that I'd throw a suggestion/request and look forward to all your work.

i'll consider it and think of some template ideas.
I wouldn't want it to be in the exact same template but something similar.
The spine would deffinately match up but maybe not the front.

i'm not sure, i'll look into it.

Yeah, not identical, just similar. It would be great to get a good Famicom template going.

PS Shenske can you please add your recent SNES covers to the site? I'm anxious to print them out and see what the look like irl!

at this time i'm not going to make a nes/famicom/fds template, sorry.
its deffinately something i'm considering but i just want to put more focus on the snes covers.
when i do make the template i'm probably also making a vertical n64 template as well.

i'll upload all the snes covers in the next day or two, i've been pretty busy lately.

shenske I love your covers and hate to nitpick, but is there any way you can ever so slightly edit your template so that the far edge of the spines do not contain the white border? It isn't that bad, but it still kind of jumps out at you and sort of ruins the uniform look. It would be better if it were completely black all the way through the spine rather than the 95% black 5% white look currently. Becides this minor complaint, great work.
