Haven't looked at this thread in a while, so I don't know if it's been addressed...

But has anyone made another Zelda II  NES cover?  The one on file is very blurry in spots and the Nintendo Label on the spine is much larger than all the other covers.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1960

I noticed that too after printing it up. I'll try to do an edit and have it up tomorrow night (PST)

I know this post is almost 2 months old, but the problem still has not been fixed.  Can someone touch up the Zelda 2 cover please?

I can't tell if this is an error or if it just looked funny originally, but the cover for Amped 2 on the original Xbox looks like it's mismatched from the back to the spine. Tell me if I'm crazy. This is on both the NTSC and PAL versions. I just bought this disc by itself and I'd like a nice cover. Thanks!

Amped 2:

The NES logo on the spine of Zelda II is too big compared to the other NES covers.

I made a semi fixed stand in to keep the case warm until someone does a better job.  I changed the gold to match TLOZ from the main page, along with the nintendo logo on the spine and tried to make some things a little less blurry.  Like I said, it's a semi-decent place holder and you're welcome to it if you like.

I noticed a slight mistake with the N64 Snowboard Kids custom cover. The dowloaded image has the same five screenshots as those on the back cover of Snowboard Kids 2 (also a custom cover), instead of the screenshots shown in the preview image.

Thanks! The Legend of Zelda Cover is beautiful. I wish someone would make one just as good, for the sequel. Your edited version is definitely a step in the right direction. Yours will be my go-to cover. If I had the savvy, I'd attempt to make one as good as TLOZ. I'd really like to see a better Empire Strikes Back (Nes) cover uploaded as well. Seems the sequels don't get as much care as the originals.

I'll spend the time and completely re-craft Zelda II if I'm provided with high rez scans.

Yeah, both the Legend of Zelda and Zelda II covers that were up on the site were pretty bad. I think Shenske totally redid the Legend of Zelda cover, but the current Zelda II cover really needs an update.

Nice to see this is getting some attention! Nice job, guys.

I would fix these, but I am not a MOD and can't make changes to our database, so here they are, we got standards here people.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=9156
The cover's spine, top part, it should be a black Game Boy Color Logo, most of our GBC covers utilize the black square

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=2653
Spine, at the bottom, the Nintendo Logo should be horizontal, not vertical, most of our GBC covers that use this logo on the spine, it's horizontal, not vertical

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1110
This is labeled as an American cover, what does it have a PAL rating on the bottom left, front cover, that G is not the ESRB of America, it needs to be removed

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=650
Spine, bottom, Nintendo logo is to close to the edge, bump it up a lil' higher

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=301
Another cover labeled as American, but with a PAL rating at the bottom left corner of the front cover, it needs to be removed. Also on the spine, we don't need that free card offer on the spine, that's overkill, also no pill shaped Nintendo logo on the bottom of the spine.

The back description of Mickey Mania for SNES has a typo in the 4th sentence. It says "You and Mickey witll meet..."

Thanks

It hink all these are from the old times when consistence was what it was.

As for the Mario Tennis cover, the PAL cover has the black logo you're after.
So if someone prefers it over the far better looking silver (;D) they can copy paste it from there in MS Paint.
There is no point of having 4 different covers that differ very little.

And only few Selected Cover Admins can replace them, not us lowly mods. ;)
