Do you also happen to have the manual of the Monkey Island game?

Maybe, I'll have to check when I get back

EDIT: At the moment I can't find the case, so I'm going to say "no"

Hey there,

A scan of the manual would have made this a lot easier, since it already is in a sort of "DVD" format. :) Unfortunately I could only find a low res image of it online.

But whatever... I am going to work on the Monkey Island cover, but reconstructing it from scratch is going to take a while.

There are not a lot of recources available. Whoever designed this cover apparently cut out LeChuck from the box art of the first game and used a part of the second's game box art as the background. You can tell for example, if you take a closer look at LeChucks sleeve, where they forgot to cover up a spot. (You can still see part of the rope)

I am going to use the manual as refrence and will give you an update, when I have made some progress.

Hey, thanks for working on this, looking forward to the results!  ;D

...I don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but...

...If I remember correctly I picked up the big box versions of MI 1 + 2, never got them to work, so got the bounty pack instead, but those big boxes are still in my flat somewhere...

What about using the Sega CD version as a base?

I am not sure what you mean. :)
As far as I can tell, this edition was not released on any other platform but windows.

I found a scan of the big box from the third game online and used a part of it as the background for the "LucasArts Classics" banner.

So I am mostly done with the front cover and will try to have the rest by next weekend.

Here is a little "making of". Like I said in my last post, I basically rebuild 1to1 the design of the manual.

Yeah, for some idiotic reason, I thought there was only one Monkey Island game, and now I see there are many. Never played any of em.

This post reminds me of my mouse pad...

And it took me like 15 minutes to figure out how to share an image with y'all.  (I'm not the most computer savvy person)

Scans always help. :)
For reference and I think, I ended up using the Monkey Island logo, the screenshots and the ELSPA logo from your scans in this case.
