February 2019 Finds!

Guess I'll kick this off.

First picture is from probably my last trip to a local game store that is shutting down. They were running a 50% off sale and most of the good stuff was gone but I managed to find a few things I needed. Found some first party TG16 extension cables hiding behind some Xbox cables. Also grabbed some cheap Saturn games for the cases. Sad to see another independent shut down but I can understand the reasons behind it.



Second picture: had a coupon for Half Price Books and managed to find a few good games.



Last picture is a couple games my wife got me for my birthday Saturday.

I found an Epson Perfection V700 Photo Scanner for $5.  The issue with apparently was that it has no install CD...    Will report back when I can to see if it indeed actually works.

Finally got my LRG New Years Day sale items.  2 Games, 2 Soundtracks, 2 steelbooks.  (Open to trades on Slime-San.  Must be sealed.  Don't own any other LRG Switch games)

This is probably my last trip to Game Trader II as well.  They are up to 60% off, so these averaged out to about $3 each.

GameStop had $20 off the newest labo set. My son and I love putting these together, so had to grab it.

I also managed to grab 3 WiiU games that I already own. Thank goodness they were 4 for $10. Into the trade pile they go...

Finally decided to plurge and ordered E•O•N GCHD MK-II few weeks ago and it arrived today.

Well as some of my TVs don't have analogue inputs for my 16-player Mario Kart Double Dash (8 consoles) I need atleast few more this type of things.
Aaand if I ever do that full GB Faceball 2000 thing with Gamecubes (16 consoles) I need even more...
So off to find one... or you mind sharing direct link to store that ships to Finland?

The "CARBY" from Insurrection is so much better.

No it isn't.  I have one and an EON MK 1.  They're pretty much the same if you don't use the features EON has.  Carby IS cheaper, though.  By a lot.  And for most people, it's probably the way to go.

No it isn't.  I have one and an EON MK 1.  They're pretty much the same if you don't use the features EON has.  Carby IS cheaper, though.  By a lot.  And for most people, it's probably the way to go.   

Carby is cheaper and of a far better build quality (I.e. metal connector, like the original, not plastic). It’s better AND cheaper.

The newest version has digital audio/video, AND you can still use the analog outputs if you like.
