...and I'm banned again... did all the normal clearing, went to make a post and got the banned page.  Posting this from my UK PC again...

It seems like a regular thing. I was banned, I cleared my cache and things were ok. Only two hours later, I checked TCP and I was banned again. Cleared my cache and repeat. Only SnowCone can fix the issue.
