The best part was it was only $45, with free shipping. Most people wanted $40+ JUST for shipping. I just ordered phoenix connectors last night, so I should have it fully operational just in time to leave for my Arcade Expo in Louisville.

Wiggy, all I saw in that thread was talk about Halloween and dremels...?

Does it show up as a 24 page thread with you landing on p23?  Might be something with my settings for post count per page. Regardless, the extron posts are towards the end of the thread.

Looks like that was it. It's a 72 page thread for me

Was there any difficulty in that? Or did you just lift the pins to the BNC connectors, and solder directly to the points where the phoenix would have connected?

Not at all difficult, just time consuming.  And yes, that’s exactly how I modified it :)

I had wondered if something like that were possible...but I already ordered all the phoenix and RCA splitters :/

Also, somehow their warehouse messed up and sent me a unit with 8 in/8 out. Though the front shows it's a 12in model. They're either going to correct it or just give me a refund. Not terribly happy about it, but they're handling it really well at least

Well, showing 12 in on the front doesn't mean anything.  Did they provide a picture showing 12 inputs on the back?  These things were designed for commercial use, so to save money some units have buttons on the front despite not having the inputs on the back.  For example, they probably made a 12 in / 8 out unit and a 8 in / 8 out unit with the exact same front.  The 8 in / 8 out unit would just have 4 buttons on the front that do nothing.  It's very common to list an 8x8 as a 12x8 just because of the number of buttons on the front, but they should be listing it based on the inputs/outputs on the back.  It's confusing, but often times the people selling this stuff don't exactly know what they have.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Oh, no. The pictures on the auction show a full 12/8. The pictures I posted were from the auction. My point was they probably just saw the 12/8 layout on the front and assumed it was the right one. Think they sold my 12/8 and the 8/8 at the same time and mixed up orders. My 12/8 was already delivered to someone else, so they're trying to get the person to return it to them (the seller is paying for shipping for all this) so they can get it sorted out.

I gotcha.  Good luck with it all working out.

That's a drag.  Those 12in are not nearly as easy to find :(

Picked up these two from the GameStop Pro Day sale on Saturday:

Also grabbed some more Walmart clearance games.  Stardew Valley was $12.88 and Tri Force Heroes was $8.

I really enjoyed Robinson the Journey. Certainly, wasnt worth the full asking price. Picked it up a few months later half price. Hope you enjoy the game. Its quite short but enjoyable.

Yeah I've heard it's ok.  It was right at $30 after discounts and it's one of the rarest PSVR games so I figured I'd pick it up since I found it.

I recently got a cash back rebate from my Visa card of $150 so I bought this for $100 and an original Gameboy for $30 from a local game shop.

Oh wow, its classed as a rare game is it? Cool, I didn't know.

I was really looking forward to Moss, but after seeing the reviews the length of the game has put me off. I really enjoyed the demo, even down to the title screen standing in the church. Really gives you a sense of scale.

Starchild also looks like it could be amazing. It's a 2.5 side-scrolling Metroid game!  ( you can try the demo found of the PSVR Demo Disc 2) I just hope its longer than 2 hrs!

One last question, it looks like you ignored the ground connection on the phoenix side. I was hoping I wouldn't have to bridge both of the sleeve wires to ground like most of the Extron guides suggest. I assume it works fine without that central ground connection?

I’ve always wanted on of these. For $50, I couldn’t pass it up. Even tinkered with it a bit and got SMW playing and saving :D
