My biggest problems with the joy cons are the lack of a proper d-pad (got a lot of the ACA Neo Geo games) and the poor performance of the left joy con (looses the connection all the time).

The 8bitdo controllers just feel "right" - i also prefer them over the "pro controller" from Nintendo.
The only thing that they are missing is the HD rumble feature (they just have "normal" rumble feature) - but i don't care about that.

I didn't feel like starting a new thread for this so I'm posting it here since it's where I posted my pickup.  I'm really enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn.  I've wanted to play it since it was released, but I was completely consumed by BOTW at the time and after finishing BOTW, I needed a break from that style of game.  But I'm glad I could get around to trying it.  I'm about 8 hours in and really getting hooked on the gameplay.

Anyone else play it or finish it?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I love Horizon. In some ways I feel it's better than BotW. Being smaller and more focused can sometimes be a good thing for a game, I guess. Doesn't hurt that the game is just absolutely gorgeous.

When did you play it in relation to BOTW?  As much as I'm enjoying Horizon, I can tell that if I was trying to play it at the same time as BOTW or right after I finished it, I probably would have been burned out on it.  I've had a pretty long break from BOTW.  I put in close to 200 hours into it, but the DLC hasn't been enough to get me back into it, so I've found that Horizon is different enough to keep me interested.

I played through Horizon a few months ago. It's one of the few games I've 100% completed. I'll definitely be picking up the complete edition at some point with the DLC on disc. Among other things, I was super impressed with how expansive they made such a compact map feel, and I loved discovering the lore surrounding how the old world ended. Definitely my game of the year for 2017.
