It's not a font.  I took the Saturn version and used live-trace in Illustrator on it.  Then I built the last line of text (4 player part) using existing characters from the main body of text.  All of the word and line spacing is done by hand.

It's a little late in the game to change it now, but heres the font used on the standard items on N64 boxes:

It's used on most (all?) first/second party back texts, and all of the icon/trademark/info stuff.

Very very good to know, nice find nipe.  When i do the next update for the template i'll include the font file with the template for people.

Nipe, what vertical covers are you planning on doing next? If you're needing suggestions, I would gladly ask for Rayman 2. Just bought it and now I need a Nipe-style cover to fit my UGC.

If anyone wants to complete my current n64 collection I only need 5 more covers! (down from the 14 or so I needed a couple months ago). They are: Dr Mario 64, Duke Nukem Zero Hour, Kirby 64, Pilotwings 64, Pokemon Puzzle League.

we need better scans for anything to be possible for "authentic" looking covers.  Been preaching for new N64 covers for a while now
