Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Better yet: this is the ORIGINAL SNES release. No Turbo features, no SSF2 characters.

If this were an officially-licensed repro of a game we never got, maybe I'd be singing a different tune. But there's not much here to justify spending a hundred bucks on.

I got the unofficial "won't burn down your house HD Remix" version.

This is not going well on any online forum that I'm seeing.  I'm glad to see that many people won't be blindly throwing money away at this (even though I'm sure that some will).

But they put "30th Anniversary" on it!  If that doesn't justify the 10x asking price of the standard cart, I don't know what does.

Also, side note here, but wasn't SF II released in 1991?  So...26th Anniversary?  And if this is the 30th anniversary of the series, as in the original arcade/Turbo CD game, then this is even more stupid.

Correct. It's the 30th anniversary of the original game.  But they might as well sell a copy of a game that everyone has heard of instead of the original.

Seeing as it was never ported to a console for which they can easily fart out new carts, SF2 was really their only choice. Too bad there is literally NOTHING new about it. Jesus. At least add a 30th anniversary title screen or some shit.

But yours looks exactly the same. Easy enough to make with a copy of SFII, Doom and a printer. The Blanka edition would be a bit tougher. Do they sell clear green SNES shells anywhere?

Nah, used brand new cart shells. I wouldn't waste a doom/Max carnage for this crap. I actually made a repro board for it while I was at it :P

Glow in the dark ain't hard at all ;D

I'm sure you mentioned it before, but what kind of printer do you use Wiggy? The results are impressive!

We've got a Konica Minolta Bizhub (laser press) at the shop. It's old, but it does a good job (when it works).
