I'm having trouble finding it, but anybody know how much he is charging for one of these?
<-- If anything I have is checked as "Case/Box", I will scan it if you ask nicely... I'm pretty slow about getting things done though.  Laziness.

I believe it's still 100 bucks.

Even after his update to the hardware (which was questionably quick) to fix that major design flaw, I'm still very hesitant to even consider giving him money. The guy over at badassconsoles is taking the time to engineer the part correctly, instead of just rushing to be first to market. Even though the guy NEVER posts status updates, I'm still more willing to trust his product over an "I was first!" product

I agree, to a point, my only issue is, the guy at Badassconsoles took money from some people a long time ago and then never updates anything and is taking foreeeeeveeeeer.

Oh, no, I totally agree. He has an obligation to people that he's totally falling through on. But "hopefully" his product will be made correctly and actually worth it. Lots of people in the community are giving him grief on it. I think a big part of it is that the process is so slow and there's not a whole lot to share. The last thing I saw was an update where he had received some prototype connectors

I have been following the badassconsoles one for a while, but from what I gathered the badassconsoles version isn't PNP, am I mistaken?

The only stuff I've seen posted form the badassconsoles folks are boards or blueprints.

I'd love to get HD out of my gamecube, but I'm in agreement.  I'm not willing to throw out $100+ and not know what I'm getting.  If some other issue comes up and he manufactures a 4.0, I'm not gonna want to throw out another $100+.

Currently, BAC only offers internal boards. But he's designing a PnP HDMI dongle. But like we've been saying, you wouldn't know that, since he's terrible about social media and providing updates. The "GCVideo X" is the HDMI dongle I believe.

Good to know.  I'll have to keep an eye out for info on GCVideo X.
