I FINALLY got my hands on a NGPC. Got it via trade that ended up being a really great deal for me. Traded FF12, Horizon, and Nier for it. Everything works, the only thing it's technically missing (as far as I know) is the copy of Sonic that originally came with it. Also picked up a couple of random games from the local goodwill. Nothing exciting though

Is it true that the Famicom manual doesn't fit inside the Famicom box?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

It fits just fine, as does NES into US box.

I read that on the first printing of the Famicom manual, they accidentally made it the same size as the NES manual, so it wouldn't fit in the box. They must have corrected that error.

Same.  That's why I asked.  Glad to hear it was fixed.

From a long-time customer and friend :)

While out hunting for SNES Classics the other day

From Amazon.  Was finally cheap enough that I was willing to pick it up (~$27)

The cart itself is gross.  The tool isn't even complete.  There's no texture on the shell, just a rough polish.  Weak.  Not to mention that it's not even the US SNES cart design.  Fixed that problem right away ;)

These showed up today. I'd forgotten that I bought them lol!

I just platinumed Oceanhorn last night. Took me about 13 1/2 hours. Had a great time with it.

Some pics of the inside:

For anyone doubting the size of the images, there's an SNES box for size comparison. I think the NES boxes are the same size.

This one is now $21. Would you say it's even worth it at that price?

Honestly, this game doesn't interest me too much - however, I bought it because I want developers to keep doing this.  So if this sells well, it increases the chance we'll get additional titles for the system.  And $21 isn't bad for a SNES  game these days
