Turrican - Sega Genesis - US retail or Raw

We don't seem to have a pseudo-retail (it came in a cardboard box) US cover for Turrican. If someone can provide raw scans, I'd be willing to clean it up myself. Please note this request is for Turrican, not Mega Turrican. Thanks!

I'd like to see a retail style cover of this as well! I looked around online and found a pretty good scan of the front and back covers but no spine. I did find a lower res cover that shows the spine though, so with a little photoshop trickery, you should be able to recreate a whole cover. I'm willing to give it a try if it seems a little too daunting; it looks like a fun challenge. Good luck!

EDIT: Actually now that I look at them more closely, I think the first 2 images are actually photographs not scans. Still, they may be helpful.

I don't think twill scan too well, as I'd have to hold it in place with the lid open.  Would probably be easier to rebuild based on the above pics.

Anyway, thanks! I've got the front mostly cleaned up already. Will keep working on it.

Actually, no, that won't be easier. The art wraps around the side a little and I can't just magic it from nothing.

It'll be Monday night before I have mine up, since I use the guillotine cutter at work. Once I post it, if you believe you can make a higher quality one, by all means please do. My time won't have been wasted, as it's been good experience.

Okay, this is the first cover I've shared, so be gentle! 
Typography's not really my thing, so I just cleaned up the scanned text the best I could. The fine print took a little damage, but I think the rest looks decent. I'm sure someone could make a better one, but I believe this is good enough to be perfectly usable--maybe even up to site standards.

Last note: as there seems to be disagreement over exactly what size Sega Genesis/Megadrive case covers should be, I'm sharing this as a UGC cover for now and letting anyone else sort out what they want to shrink it down to.

That looks excellent flamepanther, awesome work!

Finding the right font can be a huge pain in the ass. I go to fonts.com and fontsquirrel.com and use their font identifiers to help track down mystery fonts I encounter. Sometimes it works well, other times it's a struggle and requires a lot of trial and error. I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and replaced the text on the back of your cover. If you like it, feel free to use it when and if you submit your cover to the main site. If you'd prefer to recreate the text on your own, the main font on the back is Centrum. And I definitely think it looks good enough for The Cover Project, by the way, and would encourage you to submit it for review after leaving it here for a day or two to gather any additional feedback from the community.
