How on earth are they going to weed out scalpers?!

One per customer at all times would help at least a little bit.  I know that there are some situations where a person could genuinely need two at a time, but that's a slim number compared to the number who buy to flip.

I can't see limiting it to one per customer doing anything to thwart scalpers.

Plus, it's really not their problem. They've already been nice enough to add a limit of 2, which is more than pretty much every other retailer.

I don't think it will change either, but limiting it to one would technically help, even if only a little bit.

Overall, I'm happy with the service they are providing.  My anger for this particular round was aimed at my internet provider (by the way, they had to come out and replace the line running to my house  :-X).  It sucks that I couldn't even get internet through my cell phone at that time.  Just crappy timing that day.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

That really blows.  I've missed a LOT of the LR games because it's just really tough to schedule my life around it.  Fridays are nuts at the shop, and despite what everyone seems to think, it's not always that easy for "the boss" to just drop what he/she is doing to buy video games, not to mention remember.  I always set an alarm on my phone, but if I'm in the middle of something, then the likelihood of me getting to my computer in time or even being able to make the purchase on my phone (which is usually at my desk anyway, which I am usually nowhere near at 10am) is slim :-\

I got Wonder Boy this morning.  It sure is easier to order when you have a working internet connection.   :P

I was in 2 minds whether to go for it today, especially as my copy of wonderboy arrived from play asia this morning - but I went for it.  Collectors edition of Wonderboy, and lawbreakers standard edition.

Now I'm even more annoyed at missing out on last weeks though. lol

Got two copies of Wonder Boy and The collectors edition of WonderBoy. Skipped Law Breakers. I just can't see the collectible in it as there's no campaign or offline mod.

I read that the cover is reversible, but that they will randomize which cover is visible and that they would TRY to send one of each if you order 2.  I'm curious if you will end up getting one of each.

It's strange.  There were apparently some bundles this time around, but I never saw them on the site until someone linked to them over at Nintendo Age.  The regular edition bundle for Wonder Boy and Lawbreakers was even still available until just a minute ago.

Yeah, they are catching a LOT of flack for it on twitter.  They popped up AFTER Wonderboy sold out so a lot of people felt they were forced to buy a bundle just to get Wonderboy.  I guess I understand why they did the bundle but they messed up on the timing and should have just skipped it for this launch IMO.

As for me, I got a standard copy of Wonderboy and skipped Lawbreakers.  I've always skipped the CE's and I've had no interest in Lawbreakers since they announced it for the same reason segamer said... I don't see the point with it being online only.

Now that I think about it, today was a pretty bad day to release Lawbreakers.  Even if I had been interested in it, I didn't want to risk loosing out on Wonder Boy by taking the extra time to click through the pages to add it to my cart.  Wonder Boy went so fast, it just wasn't worth the risk to me.

I've missed games during the checkout process. When it comes to Limited Run Games, seconds matter. Notice Law Breakers hasn't sold out?

Last year during the Black Friday sale, I ordered the games I really wanted to went to checkout as quickly as possible.  After making the order, I went back and ordered a few of the games that I sort of wanted and made a second order.  It cost me an extra $5 in shipping to have two separate orders, but it was worth it because the games I really wanted sold out very fast.

You coming to MO Game Con?  LRG is supposed to be there and they usually sell some of the extras they have from past releases at the cons they go to.

I want to.  Between LRG and all of the announced guests, it sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure yet if I will be available that weekend.  Although, as far as LRG games go, there have only been two releases that I wanted to buy, but wasn't able to (both games from last week), so the LRG table would probably be low priority.

Managed to buy one of everything this am. No idea why I bought law breakers, but I figured what the hell. Why not.
