I saw this online:

It has both my dissapointments of the real PAL cover fixed:
- It has the US artwork (PAL art is stupid).
- It has blue spine (so it will line up with rest of the WiiU covers, that is after Luigi U cover ios fixed).

I'll scan my PAL cover as for raw material.

I want front and spine like this image, but the back cover of the real PAL cover.

No way are my skill enough to perfect the cover (especially the cleaning part).

Thank you for who ever will help.

What do the covers look like? Gamefaqs only shows the cardboard boxes. I assume the US one looks like you posted. What does the PAL cover look like? More importantly, what does the Japanese cover look like? It seems the cardboard is horizontal...

Pal cover looks like this, at least the ones that came in the Amiibo bundle:

Note Yellow cover and yellow case.

Ok. I'll scan it as soon as I buy longer USB-cable and have time to configure my scanner.

Sweet, thanks Arseen.
Also. If you know anyone that doesn't like their yellow case, I'd be happy to get it from them. We got jipped hard on the Mario Maker her in the U.S.

I don't know, I like all my covers to be uniform. I don't like different color covers and cases.

I like uniformity too. What I don't like is that everything about this game screams yellow except Mario's suspenders. Before I even opened the box I said to my girlfriend, "man I hope the case is yellow." And guess what? It was fucking red.... Really? The least they could have done was put it in a blue case to match all the other Wii U games...

Fucking red...

Plus everywhere else in the world got a hardback book with the package but America get a paperback version. A big fuck you from Nintendo.

It should've been yellow, like the Japanese cover of Super Mario Maker. But luckily, I'll scan the US cover of it.

EDIT: I got it covered!

I'm confused.... I've got the American cover. Unless you're scanning it for Arseen.
I'm talking about the case. In America, it's a red case, everywhere else got a yellow case and a nice hardback book.

Hey Arseen,

As I am starting to get going on my Wii U covers (have a fine PAL template made up) I will be more than happy to have a crack at this for you.

Get the yellow one scanned in and Ill turn into a nice blue spine'd one for you......Im sure I can fine a great high res image for the front replacement and the spine should be absolutely fine as the ones I have made so far look SUPERB and literally no different from my official boxes all lined next to them.

On a side/related not - I went into a game store to see a friend of mine the day I came home with the Wii U covers I made printed........showed them to my buddy and he was so impressed he said he was going to talk to their head office about employing me as a freelancer for them to make covers for games they have boxes stolen of or lost, and cannot find replacement covers for........pretty cool!  ;D

Perfect, I'll scan it as soon as my longer printer cable arrives.

Nice template but it's US, PAL has light blue spine.

And the front image looks good, but I prefer one edit: Removal of tha book thing (should not be too hard as the background is mainly just the grid patern).

Also the PAL back cover needs one edit: Addition of the controller compatibilty bar.

I'll give more detailed instructions preferences once I scan the cover.

Cool, thanks for the scans you have already sent.

I will have a crack at this today (been working 13 hour days the last 2.......urrgghhh) after my Mrs has dragged my ass out food shopping.

Could you scan the one you have right now so I can use the PAL back and then set about replacing the spine for the regular blue version, and then bringing in the front art work as per the alternate cover you showed in the first page of this thread?

Thanks man, although...........I just had an idea...........I get on really well with the boss of my local GAME (huge UK chain) store, and was thinking he may have one of the EXACT covers you want out back or on the shelf (as it is obviously the "display only" box)), so will trot down there later and see if he can give one to me, and then Ill just scan that in and its all done! ha ha.

Otherwise, send the one you have and Ill do the stuff you want done to it.
