I think it might be a nostalgia thing, as with it being a game I played in the arcade many a time.......having it on a home console is just a bit mystical to me.

Never the less, it is freakin awesome anyway, the frenetic but not too over whelming bullet hell, the whole bullet soak in/deflect mechanic is so much fun and I love the sound design of the game as well, adds a lot.

That's really cool. I am excited to try some shmups I have now. I will hold off on requests because I have so many new games I need to try. I'm excited for Mars Matrix, Ikaruga, Under Defeat, and Border Down. I wonder which one I'll like the best....I like the idea of mars matrix having a "shop" to earn and spend points on stuff for the game (kind of like mvsc2...)
