Driver 2 (Sony PlayStation)

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Here's the Greatest Hits version of Driver 2.  It's weird because they switched in inlays between the front and back. ???

Does anyone have the following Playstation 1 cover scans?
Bust a move
Jumping Flash!
Jumping Flash! 2
Resident Evil

I added Resident Evil to my scan thread.  I scanned the two disc version which included a RE2 demo disc and a one disc Greatest Hits version.

I also added RE2 and RE3.

Okay, I lied.

I have Ridge Racer, but I don't have the cover.   :'(

On a completely unrelated note, I'm looking for a cover for Ridge Racer. ;D

Did Ridge Racer have a jewel case cover as well or only a long box cover?

Did Ridge Racer have a jewel case cover as well or only a long box cover?

It had both.

There is a website that lists all long boxes and shows which ones were also released in jewel cases.  I'll see if I can find it.

Was the Jewel case cover the Greatest Hit version of Ridge Race or was there a non-greatest hit cover too?

Found it pretty quick.

http://www.game-rave.com/psx/playstation_perfect_guide/long_box/index.htm

It's a really cool list.  It includes every game released in long box format and indicates which of the three long box versions the game was released for:
Long box clear jewel case (same as Saturn and Sega CD)
Long box bumpy ridge (strong plastic case - the good kind)
Long box flat cardboard (never liked this kind)

It also lists which of those games were released in regular CD jewel case.

It was released in the clear jewel case long box (like Saturn and Sega CD) in two different formats and in the standard CD jewel case in both regular and Greatest Hits.

In other words, there were 4 different cover versions.

I'm really looking for the CD jewel case version, but it probably wouldn't hurt to have the long box version as well.

What was the reason for the Playstation 1 games having a few game released in long box cases? I am guessing that they had a second print of same game that which was then switch to a jewel case?
