Hello all,

I've frequented this site often in the past few months and I first would like to thank everyone for allowing me to benefit from your handiwork.  I've wondered how I could actually repay the users on this site and I think I have a good way to do so.  I've recently come into possession of roughly 50 Genesis covers from my friend (not sure how he got a hold of them).  I've noticed that many of the covers are not featured on this site as of yet and all are in very good condition.  Unfortunately, they are at home and I'm at college, so I can't list the specifics, but it's a healthy amount.  I'm bringing this up now because I'm heading home for Easter and I am curious as to whether I should bring my printer/scanner with me and upload these covers.  This would seem like a no-brainer, but I'm not sure how high-res my scans would be.   Could anyone tell me if a Canon MP160 would be sufficient enough for uploading covers on to the site.  I would greatly appreciate a response by tomorrow, if not I'll just leave my scanner here and take the covers back with me on Monday.

Now, and I really hope this doesn't seem like I'm offering an ultimatum for my potential scans, I just want to kill two birds with one stone in this thread.  But, I have some requests.  I realize it's a lengthy list, and I do not expect all of them to be fulfilled, I just thought I'd ask.

Genesis/32x
Knuckles Chaotix (USA) (I've tried to tweak the version on here with some of the templates, but I'm photo shop-challenged; which has hindered me in trying to work on other covers.)

Championship Pro-Am (USA)
Greatest Heavyweights (USA)
Sonic Classics
Sega Saturn
(For the Saturn games, I would really prefer the standard DVD case covers with the USA style [white and beige/light gray with angled lines])
Batman Forever
Sonic R
Sonic 3D Blast
Daytona USA (not the championship edition)
Space Jam
NBA Jam Extreme

Playstation 1
(Again, I realize I'm sounding nitpicky, but I'm shooting for the stars with these requests:  if possible, I'd love to be able to get these games into standard DVD cases)
Blasto
Jet Moto 2
NBA Live 2000
NBA Shootout 98
NFL Gameday 98
Madden 2000
March Madness 2000
Triple Play 98
Tekken 2
Die Hard Trilogy 2
Crash Bandicoot 1 and 2

Dreamcast
(Preferably the cases that I believe Lumberjack specializes in?  the ones with Dreamcast written in an orange "box" on the top of the spine)
Legacy of Kain:  Soul Reaver
Sonic Adventure 2 (again, I realize that this might be an easy transfer to the orange spine cases I prefer, but any attempt I've made to work on covers in photoshop ends poorly)
NBA Showtime NBA on NBC

I realize that I'm asking way, way, way too much, but I figured that it couldn't hurt to ask.  Also, I tried to add these to the wiki, but I kept getting the HTTP 404 error.  Hopefully, I can get through later to update the list.  And also, this list is so lenghty because I am trying to remember some of my collection off of the top of my head.  As far as my list of covers I can upload, if you have any questions regarding titles for me, simply ask, because I'm sure I can remember whether I have the cover or not by seeing a particular title.  Thanks for any help in advance and I hope I don't rub anyone the wrong way with the long list.

Have a great day!

Just so you know, for future reference, if you do requests, you need to add what systems you're requesting and which region you want in your topic line. For example, your topic line should read like so: "Genesis/32x, PS1, Dreamcast-Several Games-NTSC/US (I'm assuming these are U.S. versions.)

Yes, I'm sorry, they are NTSC/US versions.

If you feel like it take your scanner with you and scan everything what you can at 600dpi, derasterized and as little blurred as possible... Just follow dooms scanning guide!

I can't fill any of your requests at the moment but as I said your contributions would be very welcome here! You know every cover contributed takes as nearere to the grand goal.... Having every cover on our site for all systems we are supporting.... ;D

Unfortunately I had to leave quickly this morning and I didn't lug my scanner home, but I did check and see which covers needed to be uploaded and I made a list of the covers I had that weren't finished.  I just checked with the finalized lists and not the raws section, because I thought that maybe having more than one option for raws to work with wouldn't be so bad.  When I get back, I'll consult the guide from doom and give this a shot.  I really hope I can help!  At any rate, here is the list:

All games are Sega Genesis NTSC/USA.
I’ve noticed that some covers already have an NTSC version, but these are different from the ones on the site, so I can upload these, too.
Starflight
Chuck Rock
Quad Challenge
Super Monaco GP
Toxic Crusaders
Outrun
DeCap Attack
Toki:  Going Ape Spit
Taz-Mania
Batman Returns
Virtua Racing
Toe Jam and Earl
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
Super Monaco GP II
LHX Attack Chopper
Race Drivin’
Formula One
Aladdin
Krusty’s Super Fun House
Fighting Masters
Micro Machines

I also have the Sonic Spinball re-release with the “K-A” rating as opposed to the “GA,” if it’s important.

I'll also root around my room later on and see if I can scrounge up some more covers that the site needs.  But for now, take care all.

Should work fine. My guide is pretty decent and dpi (or ppi, same thing) settings should be in advanced options or something like that.

I think I can help you with getting raw scans of CB2, but it's in GH form and I won't put it into a DVD case.

Sorry. I plugged the wiki everywhere, and now I guess you could say the wiki as of now is "unplugged". Snowcone apparently has everything in what should be working order, but it's still broke. At the moment he doesn't have the time to find what's wrong.

Found out I have the raw scans for CB2, but they are pretty raw and might need cleanup. In addition, it isn't in a DVD case. I don't quite remember, but I think it's in 600dpi.
