Ice Metal is a Super Metroid hack that puts the focus on exploration, rather then raw skill. There are some new power ups and tricks you need to master in order to beat the game full out, but it mostly tries to stick to how hard the original game was.

A planet that is a federation top-secret bio-weapons research out post that collects species from SR388 for secret federation weapons development. Phazon was found and collected by a SR217 research team, is used to mutate the X-virus with metroids. Once there Dark Samus learns of a new threat. This hack feature new rooms, items, enemies, and new graphics
