I can't get past the whole sprite manipulation thing (versus multiple sprites to create animation). Makes everything look excessively flat, and like a flash cartoon from new grounds 10 years ago :-\

This kickstarter for orchestra  arrangement of Zelda soundtracks sounds quite interesting.

ohhhhhhhh I may have to back this one.  I love the 25th anniversary album that came with Skyward Sword and this sounds right up the same alley.

Also, Henshin Engine is in it's last day for people interested.

How do these people get completely infringing projects to go through?!  That earthbound project comes to mind as well. Just boggles my mind.

I wonder the same thing sometimes. Like half of FanGamer's merchandise is unlicensed Nintendo merch but they just keep on going.

Yeah, they especially stand out in that regard. No idea on earth how they're still in business.

Unreleased SNES game Socks the Cat getting life though Kickstarter.

LOL @ the first reward.  The rom, which will surely be dumped the day the first units start arriving with customers.

I'm usually not one to advocate kickstarter games, and I know this one won't make it since it's only 7 days left, but seriously: Beard Blade.

They have a free demo so you can judge for yourself. It's not one of those cheap "Pixel is Art" type of indie games. It's just a fun little game about fighting pirates with your beard.

Thanks for the heads up! Just backed the tier for the exclusive Kickstarted Limited Run PS4 release. $55 CAD with shipping, not bad at all!

This man is only $400 away from his goal  ;)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/262906301/bebop-and-tempo?ref=project_share

It's one of those "Help a Brother Out" moments  :)

I hate seeing kickstarter's get SOOOO close, I feel like that guy who just wants to see that carnival kid win that prize and wants to throw in a few nickels to his cause. (...And the Gameboy cases in the video are really nice to see too)
\"Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you, Reprove a wise man and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning.\" -Proverbs 9:8-9

Well, its $400 of only a $1000 goal (now needing $300 or so)

Honestly that game does not seem like anything special, could be ok enough fro ma gameplay standard but the art looks kinda bad, looking like a odd mix of Sega Master System sprites with modified Kirby's Adventure sprites. The worst part about it is the inconsistent pixel sizes. Some characters and objects have big pixels (like the enemies), some have small (Like the BG and leaves of the trees) and worst of all, the player bird has large pixels for the body shape, but small pixels for the face. Some parts of the land has outlines, some does not, and color choice is not very good. It all just kinda looks armature, I've seen worse and it would not take too much effort to fix up.

With all that said, good luck to him getting the goal.
