I got this Gamecube lot on craigslist. The seller told me that he's been selling stuff on craigslist for 5 years and has never had the response that he did for the gamecube stuff.

I spent a little more than I wanted to at $140, but there are some valuable games. What do you guys think? Was it an ok deal?

Gamecube with 4 controllers (3 are 1st party), memory card, 2 a/c adapters, a/v cables, and 1 memory card

pretty good price in my opinion, you'd definitely pay more trying to get each game by themselves on ebay

Yeah, just the games alone are/were worth almost that last I looked.

At first, I thought that sounded like a lot for GC stuff, but than I broke it down.

The way I see it, a working GC with one controller and all cables is worth about $25.  The extra controllers and memory card are worth about another $15.  That's $40 so far.  That means you paid $100 for the 16 games, or $6.25 per game. 

Yeah, I would say it's a good deal.

Speaking of good deals, the Craigslist ad I found yesterday qualified as the "good."  I can't show the link because she already took it down, but she was selling 89 PS2 games (all CIB) with a fat PS2, six memory cards, and two wireless Logitech controllers.  She was asking $150 and I offered $100.  She took it right away.  When I picked them up, she said she had several other calls, but no one could pick up the same day as I could.  The seller was extremely nice and very appreciative of my purchase.

When I got home, to my surprise, the PS2 had the HDD add-on installed.  

I broke it down a similar way.  I figure the PS2 with HDD, memory cards, and controllers is worth at least $40 which means I averaged  $0.67 per game.  Not bad considering there were only a few sports games and only 9 games that I already had.  

Hell, I only owned 61 PS2 games before making this purchase.
