That Super Mario Land ad reminds me of people who sell a loose cart as brand new... because 'I only played it once or twice'. The mind boggles.

The worst is people on Ebay posting things as "Very Good" or "Like New" condition when it is disc only.  They are talking about how the disc is in very good condition, yet even at the lower "Good" category you still must include the cover and instructions.  Anything that is disc only MUST be listed as "Acceptable" by Ebay standards, but no one seems to care.  Drives me crazy which is why I don't trust that anymore...and if you post something from your iPhone with no description and no picture I'm not gonna touch it.

This.

Plus, eBay also gives the seller the option to list the item as brand new even if it's open and without the original packaging.  I can understand "like new," but nothing that has been opened is brand new.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Man, those phone listing are the absolute worst. I can't believe they let people list shit like that. eBay flat out tells you "no, you can't do that" if you try and list on the full site with absolutely no description.   People get lazier and lazier every day...

These two ads are from the same seller.  $125 for both ads together which I'm assuming is $25 for each GB Pocket and $5 per game.
I called him today and offered $80 ($25 per GB Pocket and $2 per game).  I'm pretty disapointed that he didn't take it.  I asked if he had a counter, but he said no.  I've seen these same two ads for over a month now so I know that he hasn't had any takers for a while, but I guess he's pretty firm.  He seemed like a nice guy at least.  I told him to call me back if he changed his mind.  I might go $90, but I just can't justify his full asking price.

I emailed last week asking about some of the games I wanted and didn't hear back.

I'm thinking of just offering to buy the whole set and reselling the games I don't need.

The bold ones are what I would be keeping - my goal would be to get them all for free basically.

The prices are what I think are fair prices for each item.  Some could be off.  I guestimated everything in about 2 mins.

Hey,

Thanks for these emails - sorry I couldn’t respond earlier, I just got off work.
I know you were talking about how you were low-balled earlier, and please know that the offer I’m going to make isn’t meant to offend you at all - it is what I think is a fair price for the lot.

I am not that interested in the NES games, just the N64 and SNES. NES was a little before I was old enough to really enjoy the games, so SNES and N64 are the nostalgic ones for me! They are the ones I really collect.

With that said, I would be willing to offer $650 for the N64 and SNES stuff if you are interested. What do you think?

Please let me know.

Travls

The offer I got the other day was $800 that is $4 a game your offering $650 that is only $3.25c a game about 30 of my n64 games are atleast priced at $50 just those right their add up to 1500 let alone the other n64 games i was only pricing at $10 each their is 47 of them that adds up to about 470 so that right their is about $1970 just for the n64 games let alone the n64 systems controllers 8 packs for the systems/controllers and the entire snes package no i cant even consider that price that is way off from what i can get just by walking into all aboard games down town im looking to get about $2800 for all of my n64,snes,nes stuff and that is fair pricing

Ok no problem. Thanks for considering my offer, good luck in your sale.

if their is any games you would like to buy individually let me know just send me a list with the games and prices you would pay for them ?

Hey,

I appreciate the offer for specific games, but I believe we are at two different ranges for game prices and I don’t want to send you offers that are lower than you have priced, especially if you can get more from other people in town. When I made the offer below for your N64 and SNES, I priced the games based on video game price charts and eBay prices (less the shipping costs). I think that I will take that route for specific games I am looking for.

Thanks again for considering my offer, and giving me the option to choose specific games.

Travis

I just couldn't believe how much she was saying her n64 games were worth, Im pretty sure people sell complete N64 loose cart set goes for around $2000? and she wants $1970 for just what she has there without any really hard to find games.

If you do end up with that log, I'd be interested in taking the 3 Xenosaga games off your hands.

Still no reply.

Could be a troll add.

I see lots of adds locally of people just showing pics of what they have with a "don't really wanna sell, make me an offer"

Even though they have no intention of selling.

Never seen this. Check out the pictures.

I have two options for that

1- he is too  lazy that he put his girlfriend to write on that paper and  took that photo, that way he didn't had to write on a pc

2- he's so stupid that he didn't notice that you take less effort writing on a pc than writing on paper

Either way he's too lazy and stupid for doing that.

Talk about overuse of the word "rare".

Plus the battery covers are missing.

I've never seen this either and it made me crack up.  What a great way to make sure your ad gets passed over by every search!
