What's up, guys? It's been a long time since I made a cover. Well, I'm back with two more original Game Boy covers. These two were made by larryinc64 and a few others. Larryinc64's covers look really good but his covers have screenshots that were taken on an emulator. I don't like that. I make full retail accurate covers as I'm a purist. Well, these two Super Mario Land covers are now available for all of you. When I was retyping the text on the back cover of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, I found the word "the" twice in one of the sentences. I corrected that sentence by removing one extra "the" from it. I don't know how Nintendo missed that. Maybe they didn't have a good proof reader when they released that game back then. I'd like to give a big shout out to kzbolin. He said I need to post a picture of my handheld games collection. I never thought of doing that and I think it's a great idea. I'm going to take pictures of my handheld games collection this weekend and share them with all of you. This will be the first time I show one of my game collections for everyone to see here on The Cover Project. Enjoy the two new retail accurate Super Mario Land covers!

Well, everyone! Just what you've all been waiting for. Another Game Boy cover and it's Dr. Mario. Larryinc64 also made a cover of this. However, one thing I didn't like was the yellow text on the front. It blends in too much and it's very hard to read. It's the same way on the original box. When I retyped the yellow text, I put a black stroke around the letters so it's easier to read. I'm talking about the words in the bottom left corner that says "Dr. Mario is coming and he's got the cure!" Not only are you getting another cover from me, but you'll see pictures of my handheld games collection. The pictures are down below right after the cover. I'll see you guys down there where I explain things in the pictures.

Now that you got your cover, I'm going to show you my handheld games collection!

This is the case that I use to store all my handheld games as well as handheld systems in. This is a DJ CD case. It's made by Eurolite Cases. This case can hold up to 300 CDs in their jewel cases. It also holds DS and 3DS cases too. They're the same height as a CD jewel case but just a little shorter on the width. This DJ CD case also has wheels so you can roll it around by the handle that you pull out.

Now, here's the fun part! This is my handheld games collection!

Here's another shot of my collection up close. I have some other games that are not in here at the moment. I have run out of Shadowfox's Game Boy cases. I need to order more cases and I can't at the moment. He had to take down his blank cases option on his website customgamecases.com. Hopefully, it will be up again soon. You know what they say. The best things in life are worth waiting for.

My Game Boy Advance SP and Nintendo DS Lite are cased up in 1 1/4" thick DVD cases. If you want this DJ CD case, you can get it at Guitar Center and Musician's Friend. The item is called Eurolite CD-4RR 4-Row Rolling CD Case Black. I ordered mine while it was on sale at Musician's Friend for $60 with free shipping back in early 2014. The retail price used to be $119.99 and now the price has gone up to $239.99. That's the current price on both sites. Why the big price increase? I hope you guys enjoyed looking at my handheld games collection! Game on!

I have finally gotten around to casing all my favorite loose gameboy games but there are some that I can't find in DS or 3DS format. I am going to go with 3DS format so if anyone can help me find those that would be great!

GBC:
Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 Tera's Adventure
Harvest Moon GBC
Heroes of Might and Magic
Mr. Driller (I don't know if this game exists in English but my copy is Japanese)

GB:
Bonk's Adventure 2
Bomberman GB
Introducing the Humans!
Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle
Catrap

Rockabilly1983 strikes back with three more covers for your collection. These are three launch titles that helped the original Game Boy gain popularity when it was released in 1989. The Cover Project has two of these but they look horrible. What's even more horrible is that one of them on the site is the ugly Player's Choice Million Seller cover. I hate the Player's Choice Million Seller covers. I am just like AlphaOmegaSin. He did one of the best rants on greatest hits packaging. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/tn9vESfdUCM. Anyway, it has been a week since I last posted some new covers. I have been busy with work since I returned to work three weeks ago. However, that doesn't stop me from making covers. I still enjoy this hobby just as much as many other users on here do. I'd like to give a nice warm welcome to Bernkastel. Welcome to The Cover Project, Bernkastel! Thank you for posting your request here for some covers you're looking for. Unfortunately, I don't have any of those covers in my Box account, but, that gives me an idea on which games to look for and buy complete in box. When I was looking for other games to buy complete in box, I almost bought Heroes of Might and Magic for Game Boy Color. I'm going to look for those games when I go to Portland Retro Gaming Expo in two weeks. That's cool that you're going to use 3DS cases. I make all my Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance covers in both case sizes so anyone can use them regardless of which cases they have. Enjoy my three new original Game Boy covers and game on!

Cool case but it's so expensive and I don't have nearly enough games to fill it.

Hey, guys! I'm back with another cover for your collections. I bought some more empty boxes and will have even more covers up soon. Here is my first Spider-Man cover. This cover is also on the main site but it's the German cover. That cover is also heavily butchered because I noticed that the UPC code was removed from it. Covers need to have the UPC code. Tomorrow is October 11 and it's a very special day for me because it's my birthday. I'll be turning 32 tomorrow. I don't know what my family has planned for me. I did tell my mom that I want Larry and the Long Look for a Luscious Lover for NES from RetroZone. That game is a recreation of the original game Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. I have a small collection of games from that site in my collection. Before I end this, I'd like to give a shout out to nbart711. Good job on that cover of Turok: Battle of the Bionosaurs. More covers are coming soon. Take care, everyone!

That's a great Spider-Man cover! It was on my to do list. I'm so thankful you went ahead and created it for the 3DS case. By chance, you wouldn't have a copy of the game would you? I need to replace the label on my personal cartridge. Could you scan the cart's label if possible?

Thank you, JaredUnzipped! I'm so happy you like the cover. I'm also glad I helped you case up your loose copy of The Amazing Spider-Man. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this game. I bought just the empty box on eBay. If I did have this game, I would have been more than happy to scan the cartridge label for you. I hope I can find a copy of this game with the instruction manual in great condition when I go to Portland Retro Gaming Expo next weekend.

Rockabilly1983 strikes back with two more brand new Game Boy covers for your collections. These are the last two covers that I can make at the moment because I have no more boxes to scan and restore. I paid $45 each for the two boxes to make these two covers. That is $10 less than what I paid for Batman: Chaos in Gotham for Game Boy Color. I got a coupon code from eBay to save $20 on $100 or more in one transaction. I took advantage of that deal. I found one seller that had some rare Game Boy boxes so I could get $100 worth of boxes to get the $20 discount. This is the first time eBay sent me a coupon code to save on a purchase. After I paid for the five boxes with their manuals, the seller told me that she couldn't find two boxes that I bought in one auction. I bought three Game Boy boxes and two Game Boy Color boxes. The Amazing Spider-Man I previously made didn't come with the manual. She told me that if she couldn't find the two Game Boy Color boxes, she would refund me $20. I told her that would be just fine. I had to send her a message to remind her about the refund because I didn't receive the two Game Boy Color boxes with their manuals once I received my package. I only received the three Game Boy boxes I bought. I waited for a refund and nothing happened. I had to contact eBay about the transaction. They took care of everything and I finally got my $20 refund from the seller. Anyway, I am very pleased to share with all of you my two newest original Game Boy covers the site doesn't have. These are two really good games. I played the first one below as a kid by borrowing it from my old school friend back in 1995 when I was in 5th grade. Regarding the 2nd cover, I played the Atari ST version back in 1989 when I was 6. I never played the arcade version. Who knows what covers I'm going to make next? I'll see what I can find at the expo this weekend. See you guys later!

Hi, guys! It's been a long time. I had a great time at Portland Retro Gaming Expo. It was my 2nd time going. I went for the first time last year. I picked up 13 games, some instruction manuals, and a Nintendo GameCube. Three games were complete in box and I just finished making the first one. It's The Lost Vikings. The cover on the main site looks good but it could look a little better. I don't have any games for the Nintendo GameCube. I'm trying to get the Game Boy Player for the Nintendo GameCube so I can play all three types of Game Boy games on the TV. That's the main reason I bought a Nintendo GameCube. For now, I am playing my original Game Boy games on my Super Nintendo using the Super Game Boy. I met Gamester81 for the first time at Portland Retro Gaming Expo and shook his hand. At last year's event, I met NESComplex. I discovered him by accident two years ago on YouTube when I came across his video about The Cover Project. I never would have known about this site if it wasn't for him. I'm so happy I went to Portland Retro Gaming Expo. I'm looking forward to next year's event. Yesterday, I noticed that 15 of my Game Boy covers made it to the main site! ;D I was so stoked that I said "Hey! Those are my covers! They made it to the site! Yay!" Over 70 of my Game Boy covers are still waiting approval. They should make it. I put lots of time and effort into them. Enjoy my latest Game Boy Advance cover! Two more Game Boy Advance covers are coming soon!
