Ok I will give it a shot when possible.

But if it is about contiguous pixel selection, Gimp has the tool too and it won t help here. My problem is more about the transparency of the fire...

looks damn good to me, thanks a bunch! arssen, if you see this can you re-up the resident evil 2 n64 vertical ntsc? the links from the vertical thread over at mediafire are dead, thought you might have it
