Would you provide the first link to this image on your mediafire account.
It would be easier to check the quality with complete un-shrunk image

I think it looks good, however it is extremely bright.  Its definitely not dark enough IMO, which leads to possibly bad quality scans leading to an unacceptable cover, but again, just saying

Otherwise nice cover but bad moire effect.
So the scans need to be rescanned with descreen/derasterization on.

I see, here this one I used Shenske's poly case cover for his scans, as they seemed better then the ones in the raw section, if these still arn't good enough i'll dig out my case and scan them myself :)

As for the darkness, i'm not sure, this one seems darker as the blacks are more black then the previous, comparing it to the retail i'm holding in my hand they are the same shade pretty much again let me know!

Better.
The moire effect is way less noticeable when at print size, but I still think that you should  scan your cover and make the cover perfect.  :)
And remember: Back images need improvement too.

As the darkness/brightness, those are at good levels, so no need to alter those. :D

same post as in the ps2 cover thread, but this time with a ps1 cover

i couldnt find a large insomniac games original logo, but something tells me that some ps1 cases are gonna be a pain to convert since some of the covers i tried converting got covered by all the specs

I do like the idea, but there lie problems with using PS3 style cases.

1) They are not readily available like DVD or Poly Cases
2) Multiple Discs can not be held in a PS3 case

there is a solution if you want to make uniform cases from PS1 to PS3, and that would be DVD sized covers.

3) this leads to that you want to re-case PS2 games to match, and PS2 manuals won't fit.

Come to think, your 1) is partially flawed assumption. They are actually easier to buy than poly cases, least in europe I can point you in exact web-site to buy from, they should ship to outside of Europe aswell, altough it will cost pretty penny.

Hmm, I just looked it up, and yea they have em on Amazon. 5 for $10....though none of the covers on the site are made to fit PS3 cases...it seems, but BD sized ones...I could be wrong.
