So we got the MGS HD Collection. And just like the SotC collection, the cover sucks.
I have the factory cover scanned and as well as the art book back and front.
Essentially what I want, the back and spine of the cover are fine. It could maybe do without some of the Spanish and other foreign languages, but besides that it's fine.
I would like the Old Snake/Solid/Raiden picture to be the front cover and move the whole MGS HD logo to the bottom and make it only M ESRB (Not T-M).
Also take out the FOX logo on the spine.
Can anyone do that? I'd appreciate it greatly! ^_^

I was actually thinking, if someone does take this cover up, to use the Big Boss and put it in the negative space of the other picture I have but sort of make it slightly faded. That would be cool. :)

600dpi scan would actually be better for this. Its easier to manipulate the cover and will look much better once printed.

pretty bad moire effect on it - do you have a descreen option on the scanner software?

Wow! That's really good! But I kinda have my heart set on the way I described it. Using the art book cover scans I put up.
Basically, like have the image of Big Boss up there in the empty corner of the Snake/Raiden cover but have BB slightly faded. Then to take out the FOX logo on the spine. Also have the front MGS logo on the bottom centered. And to take out as much of the French and Spanish as possible, and changing the ESRB ratings to M.
Is that doable? :)

The back legal text was heavily altered to remove the all languages other than English. I was a little confused with the front art you want me to use. You said you wanted "Old Snake/Solid/Raiden" did you really mean "Big Boss / Solid Snake / Raiden" because that is what i used. I hope you don't mean Old Snake form MGS4 because that would make no sense. Hope this is what you were looking for .....

I never had much of a problem with the original cover at all, but that looks really nice.

If that back is just English, then it's perfect. The front I do like, but I had something a bit different in mind. With the images I uploaded and provided I want that whole picture of the side of Snake's head with the Snake/Riden picture. And then the picture of Big Boss, in that first picture's negative space in the top right, but make is slightly faded. Then with the MGS logo on its usual bottom position (NO Transfarring logo). With just the ESRB logo, Fox logo and Konami logo on the front. Making it as clean as possible. The Spine is also fine as you have it.
If I'm a little unclear about it, just let me know. :)

The images didn't quite fit how you wanted them to. I hope you like this arrangement. If it put exactly how you imagined the images would be really warped and out of proportion. Does this work?

That first one is PERFECT. I love it!
Can you take out that stuff under the M on the front and that Kojima presents stuff in the middle? Just have the Konami and the M there.
Other than that, perfect.

Hey Shenske, I know you're busy. Is there any way we can get an estimate on when the cover will be uploaded with those few minor changes to the front bottom?
Or what about even making the front bottom like how you did your VR Missions cover? I did the same with my other few MGS covers I've made myself. :)
