Unfortunately that is completely useless.

Take 1200 DPI scan of the label (derasterization on), and crop out the excess (only post the actual label with maybe few millimetres of cart visible).
And provide scan either thru Mediafire or Box.net (image shack srews the image)

I only did a quick mockup to show you what the cover would look like if it was in full effect, it was no where near complete. I also plastered it over the Pocket Monster Stadium cover as it was the only N64 cover I have on my computer at this time. It was just a mock up =P

You mean being off.

And may I suggest that you color your signature so it would be noticed.
I noticed it only after you mentioned it.

And I think it would be just easier to plaster the INTERNATIONAL VERSION text and Not For Resale box in to the exsisting cover, as it is near identical to this label, see:

Post by: BadChad on July 15, 2011, 05:54:37 PM: Why not just take the original Yoshi Story cover and just add the "International Version" and Not for Resale"? The art might be a bit different but it would be much easier to put together ans would have a better art quality. Just an idea...

Post by: nintendophile on July 20, 2011, 07:08:35 PM: Well, I basically had to use pieces-parts of other, higher-res images to build this up. The half-tones in the scan of the original label made it next to worthless, so I had to start from scratch. I left off the "N64" logo on the right hand side that was in the original image and made the ESRB rating slightly smaller than it was in the original, since they were both covering up the red Yoshi. This is what I came up with:

I cut the bottom of the frame off the front because of the shape of the image I was re-creating. I wanted to reproduce the label of the N64 cart as closely as possible, and once enlarged, if I had kept the bottom of the frame on the template it would have cut off a good 1/4 of the image. Just a design choice I made. I'd rather see more of the image than keep the template border in tact. ^_^

I don't think Rare was involved. I noticed "Rareware" was on the back of the template I was using. I've fixed it now so it doesn't say that. ^_^

Personally, for me, its like Greatest Hits versions. If I get one of those games, I replace the cover with a "normal" version.

You're right. I reposted the link without actually looking at it, and didn't notice there was more than one image linked. I simply figured the link wasn't easily noticed and reposted it so it could be seen.

Well obviously these were obtained in the VGBM, the Video Game Black Market. It's located inside a Kindergarden school.

Yeah, there's quite a few NFR nintendo 64 collectors actually.

Its how I found out a grey Majora's Mask cart even existed.
