It was brought to my attention that July is over...so I'll re-post this here.
Proof that good deals still exist...although they are definitely few and far between these days.
Saw this posted for a whopping $10. I was able to grab it within minutes of its posting, otherwise somebody else would be posting on a forum about it.

And yes, it is complete. It's just enclosed in a jewel case with a black insert tray.

I also posted this in July's thread by mistake, so I'll move it here.
A few decent TG-16 games traded in at Retro Games Plus. Paid $93 for the 3 - not an amazing deal by any means but all are in very good condition (the Raiden manual is nearly flawless), and the cases are excellent with sleeves included. I'm especially fond of the TG-16 port of Raiden. I owned it back when I was a kid, and I think it's the best non-CD home version (Raiden Project for PS1 is arcade perfect).
Also found Area 51, Road Rash CIB & Shadow Dancer CIB - paid $60 total for the 3.
-
Good thread title and score! :)
Yeah, they definitely exist. I grabbed that copy of Pro Golf 64DD last year for $19, and from a seller on eBay who sells nothing but retro games.
Just gotta have those saved eBay searches and whatnot AND be on it like flies on shit!

Surprisingly it is hard to find in my area. So when I saw it at 2nd & Charles, I grabbed it up.
I hope everyone has a Great August for collecting!

I got all this stuff for the low price of standing outside in 37C (98F for that small subsector of the world) and 48% humidity for the 10 minutes it took me to pack my bag from his vehicle ;D
Guy was getting rid of stuff his kids didn't want to keep and I got this stuff... Unfortunately most of the games are... well they were owned and used by kids... some of them look like they played air hockey with them... going to try to resurface them when I get home from Korea and see if I can get them working again.
I don't know why my pictures are so big...

I use Mediafire to host all my images and it has a share option for resizing for forums.
You may want to try them, it is free until you run out of space.

I got a Soul Calibur arcade machine! Yay!

Got my NES Micro Mages few days ago.
It came with cart, dust cover, box, manual, poster, 2 magnets, 2 stickers, music CD and string bag.
I can't take pictures as my work phone is being upgraded while I'm at holiday for 3 weeks.

Flea Market pick ups. Rocket and Puzzle Fighters were great finds and Caesars Palace is sealed. Also grabbed the Animal Crossing amiibo for $1 each just in case the new switch game supports them.

So I was out in Indianapolis for a concert this past weekend (Iron Maiden) and hit up a couple Disc Replays out here (full pick ups soon) but I just had to post this oddity. I was browsing the DS games and noticed this game which I had never seen before. Looked it up and noticed it was a bit uncommon. I didn't pay a ton of attention to the writing on the front and actually thought it was on the plastic at first and would be easy to get off. It was $8 and complete so I figured why not. It wasn't until I was looking at it a little closer I noticed the 86 / 200 under the writing. That got me really interested. It appears it was a "limited edition" that was sold though Intellivisions website in 2010 that was individually signed and numbered by Keith Johnson who was the president of Intellivision at the time and did some work on some of the games back in the 80s. The only way to get this was though their website so how strange is it that it was randomly at Disc Replay in Terra Haute, IN. Anyway, there's not a ton of information out there that I've found so far but I did find this thread on AtariAge about it.

Ok, time for a big pick up post. Here's my total haul from hitting every Disc Replay, Half Price Books, Exchange, and Game World in the Indianapolis and Bloomington, IN area. I was trying to focus on stuff that's dried up in the STL area. I finally was able to track down Splatterhouse, Deadly Premonition, and Marble Mania after a long search. The Saturn MSX collection was a really awesome random find along with High Velocity which is a Cave developed racing game published by Atlus. I also found a bunch of great portable games including Blaster Master for the GBC and a complete copy of Etrian Odyssey IV. Alien Chaos 3D was a cool uncommon find too. Lastly, I finally found a complete copy of DDR Mario Mix. The box isn't in the best of shape but it was reasonably priced so I jumped on it. Rocket and the 2 copies of A Sound of Thunder are for trade because they were way underpriced.

Retro Games Plus here in CT has had a copy of MSX collection for a few months now. They have it priced at $90, which is roughly the going rate for it. I'd like to pick it up but I can't afford it right now. They got it with a bunch of trades of Japanese Saturn games. I did manage to get Gale Racer for $5 and Memorial Selection vol. 2 for only 99 cents though.

Thanks guys! I got the MSX collection for $60 which I was on the edge about. It has the spine card though and was in good shape so I went for it.

Is that the one in Southington or Plainville area??? If so I used to go there every Friday on my way home from work and pick stuff up. This ended 7 years ago when I moved from CT to Seattle. At the time the selection was pretty small but I always found a few items worth grabbing.
-
There are 3 Retro Games Plus stores - Newington, Orange & Norwalk. There is a game store in Plainville but it's a different one.

I had no idea that the MSX collection accrued some value.
I bought a copy way back in 98 or 99 for about $5-6 at a local import shop. The Saturn has proven yet again to be more collectible than I would have ever thought.
