Just got message that my 2 Asian copies of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster for Switch are ready for pick up.

Very nice... I wasn't able to get a copy. :'( That one flew pretty fast during both ordering windows, and I wasn't even trying to go for the CE. I had to settle for a PS4 Preorder.

Gather around for a tale. My car repairs ate the rest of my tax return. So I was bummed out. I had lost hope of owning a switch or a PS4. Today my wife asked me to take her to the store, and without warning she purchased a switch for me. I love my wife.

After watching numerous online reviews of the new Retro-bit Saturn controllers, I decided to buy one. It is excellent, though not as perfect as some reviewers make it out to be. Pulling off precision moves in Capcom fighting games is slightly more difficult with this controller than with an original model 2 controller. You adjust to it quickly enough, but I would rate the D-pad as an A-, compared to the A+ of the original. Button quality is nearly indistinguishable from the original, minus the click of the shoulder buttons. It is nice having a 10 foot cord though.
Fighting Vipers 2 is a very high quality replica, and a game I've always wanted to play. Unfortunately it was never released in the U.S., so this repro is my first time with it.

Starlink toy are on sale. So I completed my set except the elusive Startail. He is the only pilot not sold in the US.
Local online store might get him for 13 Euros (including postage to me).
They say they can order him with 10 day delivery but their results vary.
They have delivered on some hard to get items but failed on some easier ones.

I have a few different everdrives already, but I was always hesitant on this one as I have over 200 Genesis games (including the really expensive ones), and about 50 Master System games. But this will work great in my Analogue Mega SG. And, honestly, I'm getting lazy. So I can just leave this plugged in all the time like I do with my N8 and Turbo ED.
I went for the X7 for the save state feature. I have been thinking of playing through some o f the RPGs again, and I don't have the time or patience to play through old school RPGs without something to boost the experience.

That said, apparently a soft mod Analogue Mega SG CAN play it

The Watermelon story is waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too long for me to even try and sum it up here. Pretty much, the company is not going to respond to anyone about anything at this point. What's left of the "company" is still supposedly working on Paprium which is an entirely different story.... Yeah, I was only in at like $60 (or whatever the base pre-order was) but I can't imagine the people that spent hundreds / thousands on it. *Supposedly* it might finally be on track again (see the last few pages of that thread) but I won't believe it until it's in my hands.

Today was an odd day. Three different packages arrived. All were unrelated, and none were expected.
The book was a kickstarter. Shipping was delayed due to a warehouse fire (all original prints were destroyed).
The PS4 game was LRG and we all know those take time to get printed and shipped.
The Ico soundtrack was an eBay order that never arrived and I had already been refunded for, but magically appeared today.
All 3 packages were ordered over a period of 10 months and all arrived today. :D

Also, all of this was free. The Square Enix website had a sale on rewards items and I had 400 points worth of stuff. I'm not big on collecting things outside of video games, but if there are two thing I enjoy outside of actual games, it's art books and soundtracks, so I was happy to get this stuff for the cost of shipping.

Mine was listed for $300 on the shelf, $200 online and app and it had a sticker on the box for $150. However, when they scanned it, it came up for $75. This only applied to the Centipede and Asteroids cabs. There were a few others that were down to $200 and the rest were at the original $300.
If you are interested, ask them to check. It doesn't hurt to ask.

First Limited Run Release (#27) now in my Nintendo Switch collection. ;D
I lost my PSP copy of the original (still have the case somewhere), so that was for me, a perfect excuse to get this version. That and because Limited Run Games.

Ran into the most games I've seen at Goodwill in a long time. I even left a few games behind along with the console (I'm guessing it was all dropped off by the same person).
Nothing super crazy, but definitely some good games and all worth more than what they charged.

Second pic is stuff that came in the mail over the last week. FX Unit Yuki is a new TG16 game and the DS game is a fan translation of the Japanese only Tingle game.
