Title: Help with buying a printer/ Getting started
Post by: Marspants on March 12, 2009, 03:22:43 PM
After seeing how awesome this site is I just had to join, the depth and content is amazing. Anyway, I was interested in making some new cases for my N64 games so I was wondering what type of printer I should get, seeing as I don't have one. My price range is around 100$. I wanted to get a nice one that would cover the basis of making a case label for any type of game in my collection, and that's reliable. I was looking at these ones at this store www.futureshop.ca cause it's near my area  but any other suggestions would be great. Thankss

Wether you go with Epson, Canon or HP... Get a 6 ink photo printer that uses individual ink tanks.. I personally use a Color LaserJet, but that is going to be our of your price range. My backup is an Epson R200 Inkjet.

P.S. Whatever you get, For the love of God, don't buy a Lexmark, Dell or Brother printer!!!!!!!!!.

Agreed.

If you can look into getting it printed at Staples/Kinkos/OfficeMax etc. It would probably look nicer and be cheaper to get it printed at one of those places.
