I'm not sure if they're still priced well, but Play Asia (www.play-asia.com) used to have cheap PS3 controllers.

To this day, I have not found a good 3rd party controller. They all have the same problem, input lag.

Even a PS2 controller with an adapter has the same problem.

You are better off finding a used Sony controller.

if i were you, i would just try and find a used OEM PS3 controller, cause all of the 3rd party controllers i've used and come across are very cheap and don't feel anywhere near as responsive as sony's controllers. there are a lot of knock off controllers on ebay and amazon, and you can get a good used one for the same price, or in a lot of cases even cheaper

with controllers DO NOT GO 3rd party. they always break or something goes wrong it might be 10 bucks more but it's worth it in the end

I saw this at my local Target today on the Clearance rack for $34.98 http://www.target.com/p/new-owner-s-kit-essential-accessories-playstation-3/-/A-14165115#prodSlot=dlp_medium_1_1&term=ps3+new+owner%27s+kit Don't know if it is all stores or just the one I was at.
