Title: What do we need to know about SNES Repro's

I really want the SNES games that were never released in the US, in particular Dragon Quest 5&6, Terranigma, Secret of Mana 2, any Final Fantasy and any other sweet RPG that I don't know about. I've seen these on eBay but every description has the caveat "works". It leads me to believe that there is a common problem with English translation games playing like they should. Who has experience with these and what can you tell me about it?

If it's built correctly there shouldn't be any problems.

Also, don't buy them in eBay.

There can be a ton of work that goes into them and if the would-be repro maker doesn't know what they're doing there can also be a lot of issues.  ( programming the chip correctly or bad soldering/wiring.)

For example if I pad a rom the wrong way for genesis, the game will boot, you can go threw the options and selection screens and options, but as soon as you hit start the game will crash.

Ill PM you a list Arseen gave me Ive gotten  a few repros and all work fine so far

also dragon quest 4 5 6 all rereleased on ds if you dont want to go the repro route
