Have a chance to get 5 snes games: Sunset Riders, Kirby Super Star, TMNT Turtles in Time, Mega Man X2, and Mega Man X3 for $180. Kind of a lot to drop on carts all at once, but they're tough to find titles. yea or nay? thanks.

That's a heck of a deal. I would do it! ;)
-
I sent a text to meet up tonight or tomorrow to get the games and they already sold. Too late. Thanks for the response

Yes, each of those is worth like 30 to 50 bucks. It's a great deal.
-
THAT is considered a good deal nowadays? Phew....
-
Standard values for each of those going off the app I use to check prices (which assumes good conditions):
Sunset Riders $40-$48
Kirby Super Star $30-$32
TMNT Turtles in Time $37-$38
Mega Man X2 $87-$132
Mega Man X3 $150-$197
TOTAL: $344-$402
It's worth it for the MMX games alone.

If you don't mind me asking, what ap do you use?

I use pricecharting.com
Sunset Riders- about $45
Kirby- bout 25
TMNT- bout 40
MMX2-bout 75
MMX3-bout 120
I knew it was at least a decent deal. I just couldn't decide if it was worth going out for.
I don't like to pay FMV on old retro games. Finding the best deals can be a fun game in and of itself.

You been under a rock or something?

The [insert system] Collector apps by PureGaming.org (on iOS). They list two sets of values, one based on input from users and one from an average of recent eBay and etc. prices, both of which are updated periodically. The values are listed based on cart (or disc) only, cart (or disc) + manual, or complete.
I use them for a combination of collection inventory and price guide. I also use the CollectorZ app/software to keep track of my collection as a whole.

Ya I actually found those apps like a few days ago. Downloaded the one for 32x since it was free just to see how it was. I like em.

You been under a rock or something?
Not really but I don't play that game. For example those price apps. Who tells you how the people making those apps determine the prices they tell you sth is worth?
This is all a big business by now and this mean fraud can be around every corner. for example on videogamespricecharting.com. They tell you an US version of Kizuna Encounter for the Neo is worth 1247 new! Yeah sure!!!!! Lawnmower man on Genesis on the other hand costs 15 USD complete? That is a five euro game max. All those price sites and apps just artificially jack prices up.
My prices I paid for the games
Sunset Riders - had the opportunity to get it complete for 40 Euro but that was too expensive
Kirby Super Star - 25 Euro cpmplete
TMNT Turtles in Time - had it several times for 15-25 Euro complete
Mega Man X2 - this I'm still missing
Mega Man X3 - 15 Euros for the cart
I still think people should take their hobby more serious then everyone would pay less. Just because people are not able to wait and pay too much on ebay all those prices have gone up so much. Too many rich juniors out there.
