Game Boy Color Console in VHS Case (pics inside)

Hey guys, I want to show you the cover i created for GBC consoles  

The main reason is I ran out space on my little showcase (where i put consoles only)..so I thought about this idea

It's not the definitive version, covers need some little fix a bit everywhere...plus I don't even know if I will use this method again, it is just a temporary space-saver  

Well, as always, if you like the idea, we can work together and make it better and so on...

The original gameboy is too thick for VHS case. For gba i can do it i think, i just need to find a good retail scan of the gba box

My original gameboy is in a double wide VHS case.


Thanks for the yellow cover - just printed and looks good - apart from my ink being out in one of my carts - so the gameboy logo is in pink!?!?! grrrrr.  Out of spares at the mo too.

I love the simplicity of it though - maybe a bit more needed on the back.  As a concept I think it's great - makes me want to get some more colours )

I'm glad someone likes the idea  

But I don't know if i should re-do the templates for DVD case 45mm as Arseen said, in this way all gameboys (DMG, MGB, GBA) can have the same case and thus look better together...

And ye, the back needs some fix!

I like the idea, but do we really need the color name (Title: Kiwi) on the spine?  Love the idea, hate small text =P  The Spine is already green =D

Well i put the text for 2 reasons:

1) Helps to distinguish versions (clear purple from purple, clear blue from blue, pokemon version from yellow, etc...)
2) That's how Nintendo called that color version <3

NGPC fits perfectly into a VHS case
