Hey Snowcone,

When you click on a link for Nintendo 64 you see the number of covers in the section.

In light of the fact that we are also displaying cart labels, and Disc scans for Dreamcast and so on that it may be prudent to alter the wording from "Covers" to "Images" or something else a little more generic?

Someone looking at N64 might think we have every cover going by the fact it states 415 available when in fact there were only 300 games ever made for it.

Going a bit further, it might be nice to list the number of each type of image (covers, manuals, labels, etc) as well as just mentioning the number of games that have at least 1 cover.

Per ValeMan's point, even if you just mention the number of covers, it could easily be greater than the number of games and still have games with no covers, since some games have multiple covers available.

I think that I am going to put a little summary above each plain category view with those type of details.

It was just a comment. No big deal really. Just something I thought we should think about .....

On another note .... Is there any way of prioritising the list of covers per game.
For example .... could you code the site so that covers are displayed in this order ...

1. USA
2. PAL
3. Jpn
4. label - US
5. label - PAL
6. label - Jpn
7. Manual - English

and so forth.... irrespective of the order that they are received by the project. That way the first cover visible when looking at the game is the US cover and not a label etc.

Indeed .... for the ones we dont have we could then place a "cover not available" place holder there. That would give visitors a graphic view of what we still require. Who knows ... we might better get some traction on those missing covers......

Now that would be a great idea (all of em)

Any updates on this Snowcone?

Also ..... all my N64 labels have been sitting on the FTP site along with some SNES covers for a while now. Any idea when they will be added?

Cheers .......

I pulled them down yesterday, but had to take a half day to take my wife to the Dr. I am trying to get them posted today along with a few covers I have to build for people that mailed me boxes.
