I was just wanting to borrow one from someone, long enough to do my own set of measurements, and then I'd send it back. Less would be spent to mail the case, both ways combined.

Not really, it'll probably cost you a few bucks to ship the case each way. Thats really not that bad of a deal and you probably wont get much better to be honest  :-\
Moviefan2k4:
Shipping for a single case from the Racketboy website is $3.91, which makes for a total of $5.50. By contrast, U.S. stamps are currently at 44 cents, and you'd probably only need three at the most, which is $2.64 combined.

Ehh... I could also go into the fact that racketboy's packaging is presumably better protected (UGCs aren't the most durable). Even not considering that ... the difference of $2 isn't a huge margin the save when you're only after one case. I'm not trying trying to be pessimistic but if I were you I'd just order the one case and avoid the hassle.  :)
Moviefan2k4:
What do you mean by "not the most durable"? Do they snap, tear, or otherwise break easily? What's the exact nature of the biggest problem with them?
WolfAlmighty:
The older ones are of a fairly rigid plastic which can cause them to snap if handled too roughly.  Mediashelving, for example, doesn't use any packing material when they ship out a box of 100 and if FedEx/UPS jostles the box around too much the ones on the edge can get damaged.  As such, shipping them via USPS in a regular envelope may cause this to happen as well depending on how they treat the parcel.

The newer cases that just came out, however, seem to be of a bit more malleable plastic so they may withstand a bit more bending before they break.  That's just me speculating, though.
