I am having a very hard time trying to find any good quality scans (I have looked hard!)

What I have been doing for most of them is trying to take a scan of lower quality and really trying to fix them up to bring them to a more high res look. For some scans it turns out pretty well and for others... well not as nice as I would like.

I have decided now to actually try to make my own through various means, the reason I joined the project was to work on my photoshop skills ;-)

The first cover I am doing is based off an old spider-man comic book cover that I am attempted to re-colour and then turn into a cover.
Due to some major midterms and labs due for the next week I am not going to be able to finalize it for a bit. Its really my first try at something like this but I think it looks pretty sharp!

  • ...and that's the bottom line
It does look sharp and is a major improvement over the comic artwork. Great work!

The on;y problem is that he has no rear scans, those are very important for what we're doing.

The images are actually a bit small. You have to resize atleast +50% and that will pixelate too much

I know I said that the covers I made would be as close to the original as possible. But I was unable to get a good fatal fury source.. so I created a almost 100% custom cover... The only thing that is the same as in the original is the rear text.

Hope you guys like it!
