Sega CD Covers for all DVD case sizes

Now that we are able to replace older covers, im working hard on updating all of the standard case SCD covers.

When I started working on the slim versions I overhauled a lot of the covers with better looking art. I am now replacing some of the older covers with the overhauled versions. The have sharper and cleaner looking art. Also one thing that always ticked me is how I used a fake "Seal of Quality" on them, this is also getting replaced with a more real looking one.

I am going in alphabetical order, most of the As and Bs are already updated and the rest will come in the next few days.

To give you all an idea on how the covers will improve; Look at the differnece in the of the old Sewer Shark covers and how much better the slim version looks. the new full size cover will use this newer cleaner art and will incorporate the better looking Seal.

Awesome! Great news about the higher quality art. Those large Sega CD cases take up a lot of space on my shelf, hopefully I can cram some more games on there with the slim cases.

I uploaded a bootyload of SegaCD slim covers about 2 or 3 months ago (maybe longer, can't quite remember, I got up to the Lunar titles) in your template Vt102. Any chance of those babies getting put up here? I didn't post in the forums but I got the Photoshop files and the jpegs.

Original Sega CD logo.

Some time ago, I was looking for an original (older version) Sega CD logo. I couldn't find one, so I re-created it in Photoshop.



Hope you like it and can use it in future cover designs.

Eternal Champions : Challenge From the Dark Side (PAL/UK/Custom)



Tried (and failed) to re-size the crappy original E.U cover to fit the template. So i gave up and used the cart version instead.I think it suits the DVD case quite well. Country specific versions are possible if we can translate to the desired language.

Was the CD version superior to the cart one in any regard(except for the standard CD quality music I suppose)?

For once, the CD version had quite a few improvements over the cart one. The soundtrack is pretty nice, each character had a video intro/ending and triggerable Cinekill and there are 11 extra unlockable ones too. Sampled sound is better and more numerous and animation is supposedly better but i cant say as i noticed that. It uses the MCD save RAM so once you unlock a character, it remains useable.On the whole, the CD has a 'darker' feel to it. I have the Special Collectors Edition of the cart too but the cover is identicle to the one you made for the site with the addition of a small sticker in the bottom right corner.

I'm taking Make My Video: C&C Music Factory off the list because it turns out it was never released under that name.
