Hmm...everything seems to work fine on mine.  I've done both NES and SNES (ironically, 7th Saga being one of them) with the box I got yesterday and they're just fine.  The sleeve portion is a bit smoother and reflects light a bit more, but dimensionally they're the same.  You may notice that the plastic is a bit bowed on the new ones which can make them seem more shallow or smaller, but once the games are in they pop out to the correct dimensions.

Mine seem fine, only noticeable difference is that they are slightly less opaque than old ones. Haven't had any problems with SNES, Genesis or N64 at all.

I was wondering if they were actually bigger. I thought the games would be held inside pretty snugly. Mine seem a bit loose.

UGCs have always been kinda loose. It's just one of the sacrifices you make for an all-in-one case solution.

Actually that might be due to something else, maybe a storage/shipping thing, I don't know. All my UGCs have a slight bow, and I got them around a year ago.

They are loose, but chances are you won't be shaking them around much so it shouldn't be a problem.  I've also noticed that putting a manual in there makes the game a more snug fit, but again you're probably not going to be moving the cases so much that rattling would be a problem.

Yeah, same here, but the new ones seem a bit more pronounced to me.  But they hold the games just fine and I'm happy to finally have them again so no complaints here.

I bought 3 boxes of UGC's at different times over the past year and a half and they've always had the "Protect O Game" shield icon in the case. Thats nothing new.

I've compared my new ones to the first 20 I received from a member here a few months back, and they're definitely the same size, just slightly more clear. I got my new shipment from The Video Store Shopper if that has anything to do with it....

It shouldn't, since mediashelving gets theirs from TVSS, if I recall correctly. If someone could make a comparison with the new MS cases and the cases of old, then we can know for certain (since I'm sure no one ordered new cases from both TVSS and MS).
