Hey everybody!
So recently I've managed to pull off a pretty-accurate template; flaps and all, for Super Nintendo Boxes. (US Version)
My purpose for doing this, is to make custom-boxes for games that haven't been released in America; and to just make custom boxes that mimic the styling of the authentic game boxes; purely for the fun of it.
My main question is that I don't know what size I should be printing both pieces out as. (There's a front and backside, each with the appropriate flaps)
Because the templates are so big, they exceed the size of traditional letter-paper when I get them scaled to the appropriate sizes (or close to) for the boxes.
I've actually got a lot of additional questions, so at the risk of sounding rude/demanding, I'll list them to make it easier on everybody.

I've highlighted the main points in bold in case anybody doesn't feel like reading a wall of text.
- What type of printer should I purchase? (Laser? Something else? Brand suggestions?)
- What type of paper should I purchase for the case itself? (Cardstock; chipboard sheets? Product recommendations?)
- Do I print directly to the cardstock (or whatever "paper" I would be getting), or do I buy sticker paper, and print the image out on that, then stick that to the cardstock, and finally, use an Xacto knife to cut out the image? It would be much easier and more professional IMO to print directly to the cardstock, and then cut it out that way, but what do you recommend for that?
- What type of paper should I get for world maps? (It's some type of poster paper, but what is the name of it?)
- Likewise, how do I get the image ONTO the paper for the world map? Same method as the box?
Thanks so much to anyone who is willing to help me out! I'll gladly make anybody a custom box for free, if you are able to answer all of my questions accurately and helpfully.
