Thanks, yeah your set is awesome!

Here's a couple work-in-progress spine sets I've been toying with lately. I will mention that with the artwork on these I didn't have the most hi-res quality images to work with, so I had to do a little Photoshop smoothing. But I think they'll look fine once printed.

First off, you're probably wondering why I have Donkey Kong Country first. Chronologically Donkey Kong Land is a sequel to DKC. I also kind of like to think of the Color version of DKC as being part of the Donkey Kong Land set, rather than part of the GBA DKC releases. As such, I put it first and added the unofficial "Donkey Kong Country Color" title to differentiate it from the GBA DKC. I also made the background more yellowish because thats what I think of when I think of DKL, and it also differentiates it from my next spine set.

Here's my take on the DKC GBA ports. Not much to say, except I kept the background green to match the correct GBA coloring. Maybe someday I'll go nuts and make a complete chronological set: DKC (color), DKC (GBA), DKL, DKC2, DKL2, DKC3, DKL3. That'd be quite a set...

I wanted to keep the different color schemes on the different games and use this cool art from one of the Game & Watch Gallery games. There was kind of a blank spot under DK, and being a fan of Mr. Game & Watch in Brawl, I added him there (he is after all the official mascot of the G&W games).

Okay, I made some tweaks, and the Donkey Kong Land spine set and Game & Watch Gallery spine set are both up on my box.net account, in both US and EU spine widths. Remember that DKC Color is the first one in the DKL set. I still have some tweaking to do on the GBA Donkey Kong Country set, so that one may be a little while.

If anyone prints any of my spines out, I'd love to see pics of them. I'm waiting on some more EU cases so I've only been able to print my Mario All-Stars spine so far.

Hey those turned out pretty good! I printed off Sonic Advance 1 and it turned out pretty good on my EU size case too. I was worried about if I got the spine width right on the US cases but I guess I did okay.

Kinda makes me want to make some more matching Sonic spines for DS games - maybe Blaze for Rush and Marine for Rush Adventure. Might have to make those and any others I think of...

How about this:

-Sonic Advance - Sonic
-Sonic Advance 2 - Tails
-Sonic Advance 3 - Knuckles
-Sonic Battle - Amy or Shadow
-Sonic Rush - Blaze
-Sonic Rush Adventure - Marine
-Sonic Chronicles - Shade
-Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis - Classic Sonic
-Sonic Classic Collection - Classic Robotnik
-Sonic Colors (DS) - Wisps
-Sonic Generations (3DS) - Classic & Modern Sonic?

Not sure I'd want to include the Sega/Sonic games like Pinball, Tennis or All-Stars Racing yet. Any changes/suggestions?

Oh come on folks! If anyone is going to be featured on the spine of Sonic Battle, it should be Emerl. He is more the main character than Sonic in that game.

Oh yeah! I completely forgot about him. I guess it's been ages since I played it since I never got around to actually getting it. I've also been thinking Sonic Colors should feature Modern Robotnik/Eggman since he isn't on any spines. (Sorry I'm one of those people who prefers to call him Robotnik :P )

Here's some spines I cranked out: Sonic Rush, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Chronicles, Sonic Colors (both spellings), Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis and Sonic Classic Collection. All are US DS spine width, except Sonic Genesis which has both available. You can download them from my box.net folder.

https://www.box.com/s/80jpnvo8fsxklxp15mzg

I'll be adding Sonic Battle once I find a hi-res logo. I'll hold off on Generations until it actually comes out. Let me know if I forgot any Sonic GBA or DS games, aside from Pinball, Tennis and Racing.

Again, if anyone prints these out, I'd love to see them!  :D

That silver spine logo sticks out like sore thumb.
Maybe we should make custom silver spine logo for DS (we have them for GB, GBC and GBA) or simplified white spine logos for GBC and GBA (we have that for GB one least one spine).

The spine logo could be easily copy/psted on if someone wants.

Just an idea.

Love  the spines BTW.  :D

I prefer the black GB(C)(A) spines to the silver ones, but I think making them white may look good. Better than changing the color of the DS spines, since some covers will be official ones.
