Yeah....

I actually made a generic cover to put my e-reader cards in a DS case and put all my game cards in it.
I just cut out all the insides of the DS case. (I don't have very many games yet)

Here are a couple of early designs:

I'm considering making the back cover from scratch and it would be great if someone could draw the e-Reader logo up in Illustrator.

Comments and ideas are welcome.  :)

They look good, Golf is the only one I really need besides the ones that came with the e-reader.

Here's the same two with a generic blue background.  I kind of like these better.

Oh my *GOD*.  those are frickin' awesome.  To the extreme!

I actually like the non-blue covers better - simply because I think having all the plain blue spines together would look a little... lackluster.

But either way, this is super cool.  What are your plans from here (aside from, one would assume the other 11 NES game covers)?  Mario Party-e?  A Wario-Ware Twisted-esque Combo cover for the e-Reader itself? ;)

Thanks for the kind words.  :)  I also would have to agree that the multi colored spines would look nice lined up on a shelf so...  Multi colored it is.

Next up are Ice Climber, Urban Champion, Baseball and Clu Clu Land.  These are the only ones I own right now.  ;)  I should have them done this weekend.

Hopefully I can get them hosted here.

They look really nice.....
Better than I thought they would look. I like the multi-color spine as well.
wow

I have the following cards & the little packs they came in:

Mario Bros.
Baseball
Excitebike
Tennis
Balloon Fight
Golf
Donkey Kong
Clu Clu Land
Crossed out the ones you already have.....

I can scan whatever is needed, and I see no problem with hosting them on the site.

this is awesome!

i was just thinking that would be nice to case my e-reader games.
(i bought 4 games and an e-reader at gamestop for $7 bucks!)

I was looking on the net but wasn't having much luck finding any logos at a high enough resolution.
i'm very glad that you did this!

great job somunny

OK, here's the final design for DK (I have six different games compl;eted, so far).  I recreated the spines and back covers from scratch and I think they look much cleaner now.

I'll be expanding my collection as I go along but scans for any that I don't have would be greatly appreciated (thanks wshbrngr!)
