Looks nice, but you spelt 'Alucard' as 'Alcurd', and the art technically isn't relevant to the game :P

I didn't know they had a Castlevania game for the Dreamcast.

officially there wasn't any Castlevania games for the Dreamcast.  This is an unofficial game that is a "Beats of Rage" mod.

thanks i'll make sure to fix the typo. Since the cover is for an unofficial game i wasn't too picky about which art i used (plus i had no idea what artwork fit with the game).  I'll keep looking for my castlevania art

Who really like Randy Moss anyway?
i know i sure don't so i decided to put some more desrving cover athletes  :)
(fyi: recreated logo on both nfl 2k games.)

NFL 2K

NFL 2K1

This one is the bonus disc that came with Capcom vs. SNK 2 in japan.
I decided to make a stand alone case for it and i made the logo custom by adding the snk part.
(it makes more sense for what is on the disc and looks more uniform)

Capcom vs. SNK Fan Disc

what the spines look like matched up

the front covers from the whole series side by side

well, as always tell me what you think   ;D

It may be a very slight detail, but it seems a little off to me that the Dan cover has SNK characters in the background while the Haohmaru one has Capcom characters. Other than that though, they look great and I think you did a really good job on them.

i actually did that on purpose, i know kind of weird.
(that way it goes 1=snk/snk, 2=capcom/snk, 3= snk/capcom, 4= capcom/capcom)

i already have cvs, cvs pro & cvs2 uploaded on the sight anyway.  :)

Most Addictive Dreamcast Game EVER!

Yeah its loads of fun, i never play it for too long though.
The disc puts too much ware on the dreamcast and it will actually end up ruining you laser (over very long use).
Worms World Party does the same thing only ruins it faster.  :(

Why does it do that? Are the discs of these games any different to normal DC games?

its the way the dreamcast reads the information.  It bounces back and forth from the inside of the disc to the outside constantly (as opposed to the information being right next to each other like most games).

Two friends of mine have had their dreamcast laser go out after playing a bunch of Woms World Party.
You can hear the laser constaly shift, its lounder than normal, Chu chu Rocket isn't as bad but eventually it could destroy your laser.  :'(

The local game store stopped selling worms for that reason.  The owner told me that people kept complaining and returning the games for "breaking their console".  They could have just put a new laser in but that can get annoying.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand... if I make white covers using the same template, can I show them in this thread? Or is this thread only for Shenske's work?

Well, here goes a shot in the dark.

Tech Romancer

Guilty Gear X

Looked all over for a Tech Romancer cover for a while, and finally decided I'd give it a shot myself. The GGX cover is just a copy-paste of the PS2 cover I scanned with small edits; I didn't know that Shenske had already made one until I found this thread. (It never showed up when I searched up "Guilty Gear X" in the search bar, so I just assumed it didn't exist.) I personally use slim-line versions of these, but it's just a matter of making the spine thinner.

The thread is for anyone who wants to make white dreamcast DVD covers.
Your covers are more than welcome to be posted in this thread.

Your Tech Romancer cover seems to use a low rez pic for the logo.  If i were you i'd find something else to replace it.
good job though, i look forward to seeing some more white dreamcast covers from you  :)

EDIT: After looking closer at the template you are using i realized you have an older version of the template.  Not a bad thing by any means but if you would like to there is a newer one with more editable layers.  The template can be found in the "Templates" thread.

The Tech Romancer logo was actually the hardest thing to find. Despite how it may look, that  logo was actually far better than any of the others I have found. If you know of another, though, I'd be happy to replace it.
