Really was not sure where to post this, as the "DVD Case Covers" forum is so full of stickies that it is a little over whelming when first looking in there. lol.

Anywho, I see that Shenske (I think) may have made a cover for this game before (its in his list in another thread) but there are no download links that I can see, just the listing of the title......and when I go to the linked box.net accounts, the vast majority of covers advertised in the thread are not in there.

So, just taking a stab at posting this here as I am getting into Dreamcast homebrew stuff now (late to the party I know) and having not been able to find a cover myself for Alien vs Predator Aftermath (BOR), I decided to make my own.

Wanted to incorporate the original arcade poster art, and found a really nice high res scan of that......the back is a very cool AVP image I have had for a while and wanted an excuse to use, I entered in and made up the game descriptive text myself, as well as re-doing of the logos on front, spine and back to make them more what I like and wanted.

Anyway, hopefully someone can get use from it as I am about too =

Alien vs. Predator: Aftermath (BOR) - Black and Orange.

Ohh and I also re-jigged Shenske's Castlevania: Symphony of Destruction to suit what I wanted out of these as well, changed the spine logo too as I do not really like the shadowy "Beats of Rage" behind the game logo......so here is that too =

Castlevania: Symphony of Destruction (BOR) - Black and Orange

Heres some more of my Dreamcast covers, including 2 games that are not available on this site (or anywhere really) in Under Defeat and Border Down........and ALL of these, even ones that are just spine swaps, are vastly tidied up over the ones hosted on here (like Mars Matrix, MvsC2 and others that were not in the best of shape)/

Just in case anyone wants the black and orange style that I like.

Border Down - NTSC-J - Custom

Castlevania: Symphony of Destruction (Beats of Rage Engine) - NTSC - Custom

Daytona USA - NTSC-U - Custom

Giga Wing - NTSC-U - Custom

Giga Wing 2 - NTSC-U - Custom

Gunbird 2 - NTSC-U - Custom

Mars Matrix - NTSC-U - Custom

Marvel vs Capcom - NTSC-U - Custom

Marvel vs Capcom 2 - NTSC-U - Custom

Power Stone 2 - NTSC-U - Custom

Under Defeat - NTSC-J - Custom

Just realised there was an error in the back text I made up on the Alien vs Predator BOR cover........and also that the back logo was "AlienS vs Predator" instead of "AlieN vs Predator".

So fixed both of those errors, made the text a little bigger and added an outer glow to it to make it stand out more.

Alien vs. Predator: Aftermath (BOR) - Black and Orange.

Man, I keep finding covers I made a while ago (jesus I was going nutty with these for a solid few months there) and these are two that I could not find anything CLOSE to the quality I wanted, so decided to make them myself.

Also, it is two games that are not easily gotten hold of (in physical or download form) so not exactly common covers.

Hope someone enjoys them like I have!

Sturmwind - Region Free (Added English Translation) - Black and Orange Custom

*Alternate front*

Gunlord - Region Free (Added English Translation) N.G. Dev - Black and Orange Custom

Holy crap!! For some reason I clicked on the Dreamcast section of the main site and saw the last uploads were my two covers for Sturmwind and Gunlord........and the latter is coming up on 31,000 downloads!!  :o

Feels really satisfying to know that you have created something so many like and use.........especially when I literally made that cover from scratch (with an adapted template of course) pulling together the artwork, working out layout, logos, getting a translated back cover text and everything.

Feels like I have created something unique, which is not a feeling we often get to feel in this world any more huh.  ;D

Anyway, whether this gets read by anyone or not (the thread seems to be rather dead), I really just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has encouraged and helped me develop this creative outlet I never thought I would have.

Photoshop always seemed too daunting until I threw myself into it fully making all the covers for both myself and all the people that have requested them from me here......but one thing is for sure, I have only developed and reached the standards I have now because of the admins and cover guru's here both pushing for high quality and making invaluable suggestions.

So again, many thanks for giving me an outlet during a very difficult and dark time of my life, one that will hopefully be over soon and I can re-double my efforts to more covers again!!  :P

Don't want to rain on your parade, but it's unlikely that it was actually downloaded by that many people.  We often get bots who hammer downloads on one particular cover, no idea why.  That being said, it is likely you have had as many downloads on that one as your other, so take pride in the fact that it's probably sitting on the shelves of 350 happy dreamcast owners.  ;D

Ha ha ha!! I thought that was a bit crazy.  ;D

Never knew about the bot thing, what the hell would that be for? Never the less, regardless of whether it is 31 or 31,000......still glad to be contributing covers to the site.

And fitting that you reply here Sheep, as you are one of the main people I credit with raising my standards so a specific thanks to you.

Something new I'm working on

What did you use to upload in a DVD case display like that? I've started to make some slim DVD covers for the Dreamcast, and would like to display them here after uploads.

I've recently been putting together artwork for all my games which don't have covers provided on The Cover Project. Most of these covers I've made don't use scans of a high enough quality to be submitted to the main site, but I figured there are those in the forums who might like to use them as a placeholder until better artwork is uploaded. Some of these covers were created by other users, and all I have done is altered them to fit a different template or corrected information. Others have been put together from the raw scans from scratch. All of them use templates provided by this site. Please Enjoy!

Additionally, although I love Lumberjack42's Dreamcast covers, I prefer having the spine and front curve to be black if the original release was in the black theme. As such, I have modified the artwork for quite a few of the covers from this site (mostly Lumberjacks) to fit the black template. I wasn't going to post these since so much of it is someone else's work, but a good few required quite a bit of tweaking so I decided to go ahead and put them up. I don't know if it's fair to add them to the main site since I'm not the primary artist for any of them.

EDIT: It's become too much work to update all these individual threads. My complete cover list can be found in the mediafire link in my signature.
