Hey, I noticed on the old forum that some people were having trouble getting UMD cases to do a PSP cover project (they asked Sony and Sony said no, etc.)

It looks like Nexpak makes the cases for Sony and is selling them independently, though. Do a google for "nexpak umd cases" and a whole bunch of stores should come up where you can get them. (These are also the guys that make those 7-disc spindle cases that PC games come in nowadays, even if said PC game only uses one disc. That's right, I'm looking at you, Chaos Theory).

I don't own a PSP, just thought I'd throw this out there for you guys.

Thanks for the heads up. I am contemplating becoming a reseller of the appropriate type of cases. Not sure if that will pan out or not.

those look right, i didn't know they sold them thought, its pretty strange the difference in prices from one site to another from a google search, 4 bucks per case to 49 cents per case to 12 bucks per case, ill probably be getting a few, since i have some demos i want to case, when/if i get them, ill try to see if i can make a cover that fits it. maybe this will take off, maybe not.

im not too sure how soon i can get them, im hoping soon, since im not sure how long the 49 cents per case deal is going on. in the mean time, if you want me to snowcone, i can scan in a couple cases of my psp games (i have 18) and ill see if i can start making custom ones with photoshop based on those. let me know what you think.

That would be awesome. I added the section, but we have no inserts for that category as of yet.

well, i finished a lumines case, not entirely though, i couldnt get the spine to not show the creases, so im hoping someone else could fix that please. i got the black part of it with photoshop though, so that parts fixed, just not the more intricate parts of the spine, i can upload more, i just want to hear back from you snowcone if i should keep doing this, and if its alright if i dont fix them entirely. right now im gonna try making a custom cover for one of my demos ( i have killzone, world tour soccer 06, and gangs of london)

edit: im not exactly sure how to upload this though, so if you can let me know, thad be great, in the mean time ill work on others.

edit 2: ok, i just made a custom cover for my world tour soccer 06 demo, i printed it out, and stuck it in my lumines case along with the game, ill take some pictures and find a way for you to take a look at them, for now im done though, send me a message back snowcone.

they would be way too big to post here, and photobucket.com would shrink it, thats why i asked what to do.

I already posted this in another section before I knew about this thread. Anyhoo, I have a PSP request:

Could anyone please provide a scan of the U.S. artwork for the Spider-Man 2 UMD Video? I got the movie free when I bought my PSP at launch, and it's been sitting it that lame, little cardboard sleeve ever since. It would look so much better mixed in with the rest of my PSP collection.

i got the cases today guys, got them from audio discounters at 43 cents each, and got them today. they are exactly the same cases as those that come with psp games and movies, so if you want them order em, they are very good quality, and came quick :) heres the link http://www.audio-discounters.com/psp3-clr.html
