The US SNES takes in AC current and has a kind of rectifier inside..... |

Both NES and MD, as well as SNES, take in AC, but output DC current. --- End quote --- I must concur with my colleague here. --- End quote --- NES adapters do not convert AC to DC as the AC/DC conversion is done in the system, while Famicom and GEN/MD adapters, this is why when you use an NES adapter on a famicom, it frys the system. |
