hi there
with pc I am a complete nerd so can only hope in some artists to print new covers.
My question is simple...why no artists for this system ?
Colecovision scene, in particular, is very active, being every year released more than 12 games but here no artists, forum seem dead, never other guys asking for covers.
Intellivision (just released a totally new DK ) and Vectrex also very active but nobody seem to collect them here.
Only the NES is the only 8 bit system with a large group of fans.
A pity...because for Colecovision and Intellivision only half the job still to do and for Vectrex...an artist could produce all the 20 (exaggerating?) classic titles in few days only.
HELP
Thanks for yr. attention

Comes down to popularity in america, most of the members i would say from here are american, and the systems most popular in america will get the most attention. NES sold better in america than it did in europe/oceania, where as the opposite is for SMS which was more popular in those regions than the NES. People try to re live the glory days of playing the systems they owned, systems like the ones you mention aint gona have a very big fan base compared to the major players (nintendo, sega) of the time. But if you have covers and scan them im sure someone will take up a challenge.

if you visit atariage website you will see thousand people listed there and 95% are americans. despite the site is mainly dedicated to Atari ( from 2600 to jaguar) the Colecovision area the more active and all homebrew games are realized/produced in the US ( or Canada ). What seem strange to me is that they seem to not know this great site. More surprisingly the consoles I mention are older than the NES or SMS but it seem they all have the original boxes (!?) because they seem not interested to covers for boxes like the UCG when owners of more recent systems here ask for.
I also collect ALL systems but for sure my NES or SNES or Genesis or PS1 games still have all their boxes in good shape and need no new alternatives...but the games I have of when was a young boy are 70% without a box and need them.....
ok, stop annoying you.
I will post the scans and hope one day in some volunteers for new great covers.
THE COVER PROJECT a great site.

if you have decent scans of Coleco boxes, I'll make some covers.
